It was the 52nd minute VDV scored in...I believe it all ties into the system.
We need to control the game better up top like I say. If we are not taking those chances we have set the structure for the match. Tippy tappy around the box with no penetration.

Kill these games early and we dictate the game better imo. Including defensive structure.
The best example that comes to mind is Luton away last season. Richi missed two good chances in the first 15 mins, then we scrambled for a late winner.
Those early chances go in then we set up better defensively for the remainder of the match. Bringing them out more and giving us more chances on the break.
Oh, and of course the set pieces were an embarrassment last season. Hope we have worked on that.
Yeah of course.
we always play with a 3 man midfieldYeah of course.
I was hoping we would get a decent no.6 but I'm guessing Archie Gray is that now (Not saying he isn't decent).
Just a better protection in front of the back 4.
I would like us to play with a 3 man midfield away more often.
Perhaps.
Bisoumma/Maddison - Sarr/Bentancur/Bergvall
Gray/Skipp
With inverted full-backs, it would make a stronger midfield and defense.
True. It’s a wet loan or nothing. Dry loans can get in the sea…so they er become wet. They've not offered that though.
They want it to be an OPTION with various conditions having to be met to make it permanent. Cheap cunts and we should tell them to fuck off.
Because if it turns sour we’re fucked. We don’t have excess 80m punts if that goes wrong …. It would set us back disproportionately to clubs that can afford an 80m miss

Villa have done 8?transfers
UTD Zirkzee, Yoro, getting closer to Ugarte
The market is not dead mate. Liverpool and City haven't made any first-team transfers yet but they don't have the same needs and urgency as we do. We have 25 points to catch up on city. It's not the time for being relaxed and waiting to see what the market does. There is no way to avoid the fact that they wanted business done by now and it's clearly behind schedule. Doesn't mean they won't get things done but as I've said all summer, that Werner transfer tells us a lot about the budget this summer, as does the idea of Spence earning a chance to stay.

We’ve been able to financially absorb lo Celso and ndombele but unable pitch-wise to kick on
Getting a big purchase wrong matters and the reasons are obvious
I meant more with a 6 behind Bissouma and Sarr rather than Maddison in front.

There are still many issues that need to be clarified, especially PSG/Bayern both need to move their players before buying someone at this time. Rennes is no hurry to sit down for negotiations, so everything is probably not over yetwhy are people still talking about Doue? the price has been hiked due to the interest from Bayern/PSG and we're not forking out 50m plus on him.

Let me know when you're interested in debating as opposed to using gifs and bait to troll which is pretty much all you're good for, until then I won't hold my breath.
The issue with Eze is that he will play in Maddison's role. While it'd be good to have someone rotate with Maddison, for 60 million you'd expect us to strengthen our very imperfect starting XI.And yet some in here don't see why eze would be beneficial even at 60 million
