𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍! | Tottenham Hotspur have now made an approach to sign left-back Patrick Dorgu.Lecce are understood to be demanding a minimum fee of €30M to sell the defender during this summer transfer window. The teenager was a stand-out performer for Lecce last season, making 33 Serie A appearances and scoring two goals.[Calcio Lecce]

You’re not getting what I’m saying at all are you?

I’d endorse an £80m signing if we believe it’s the right player, the fee is representative of his value, and it’s not off of one good season in a different league.

What I don’t believe in is the cavalier attitude you seem to be displaying whereby you seem happy to overpay and sod the consequences.

As far as Vicario and the other similar signings, I’ve been one of the biggest advocates of buy smart rather than just buy big, so no that doesn’t bother me in the slightest.

I think you need to possibly re-read what I’ve posted.

Mate, you replied to me and clearly still misunderstood what I'm saying.

Where did I say we should overpay?

If you have watched Gyokeres score 20 goals and the Championship and then score 20 goals in the Portuguese league and then still think 80m is an overpay, cool. That's worth discussing.

My point is if you haven't seen him play and don't have any reason to say either way, why do you care if it's 60m or 80m?

really dont get the eze hype and he also plays in a position we are already fairly healthy in. not sure hes even an upgrade on maddison.

we need far better wide players, the money should be invested into that area, thats where we will see the biggest % increase. they are far to important in this system to be incompetent.
I think when Maddison got injured (and then returned in poor form) our lack of creativity was badly exposed.
