I read we owe something like over 700m on stadium. Just want that paid off so we can spend on players. Chris cowlin on youtube the other day was saying our last massive signing was klinsmann in 94. Thats 30 years ago!
You’ll be waiting a long time. In fact you will probably be six foot under if and when it ever gets paid off.
Businesses live on debt. It causes us no problems.
I thnik Modric and Bale were better. You don’t have to buy big stars. Just make players into big stars.

It’s a long term mortgage on a low interest rate - the repayments are low and don’t impact us like they did to the Goons when they scrambled to pay off short term debt

Story sounds a bit of a whooper.

Just curious how much do we owe for stadium? Bit of a noose round our neck. Want that paid off ASAP ideally unless a new owner comes in and pays it off.

It doesn't matter what we owe as we make far far far more than it costs to pay off.
Think of it like a 2nd property that you have a mortgage on, but your Tennant pays you more than the monthly mortgage.
That mortgage is not a problem, you're not restricted by it in any way.

Is that a simple enough explanation for you?
