incomings:
10m Rodon
7.8m (40% of Jack Clarke)
6m Gil
15m? Emerson
17m PEH
6.7m Parrot
15m? Skipp
10m? Reggie
10m? GLC

in theory close to 100m of outgoings could happen this summer. That's lowball estimates as well. So for those of us still expecting to be 2nd or 3rd for Net spend this summer, we need to spend what kind of sums from here for that to happen?

8m Werner loan
30m Gray

So we are all expecting another 115m ish to get a 150m net spend?

You missed the ~27M for Drogo and ~8M for Bergvall

Spurs average net spend over last 4 years is 112M per year.

112 average net spend
-73 already spent (including January)
+47 incoming done deals
+50 speculative incoming (Royal etc)
=136M still in the kitty

Not to say we'll actually spend that, but it's what recent history suggests is reasonably likely.

Add to that Ange's interview comments "If I had the luxury of £100m, I'd rather get two £50m players", together with POK comments about 3 more incoming targets. It doesn't seem unreasonable to expect 3 more £40-50M signings this window.

Given that there has been zero correlation between ITK rumours and bomba announcements since Lange took over, I think we can say that we have zero idea who those three will be. Even the ones that seem to have been gazumped by European giants (eg Doue) can't be ruled out as we saw with Dragusin in January.

I have a hunch that Yang Min-Hyeok may be one of them, given the timing of Gangwon FC's CEO's planned live stream announcement July 28th/29th.

I have no idea about the other two. I don't think Toney or Doue will pass the Ange test re character and motivation to move to Spurs, but happy to be proved wrong. I'd be happy with Eze although it's a little out of step strategically vs recent signings (18 to 23yo's from other leagues, notable exceptions Maddison and Vic).

Dragusin and Bergvall were January signings. I was talking about this summer window but as you say, if we take it over a year, then we still have 136m over this summer and January. Not sure why you only have 50m of speculative incoming money. I think 100m incoming from sales is more than reasonable and even if we don't get that it will definitely be over 50m...BUT let's say you are right, considering January spends are rarely big, I guess most of that 136m would be across this summer window....I

Ange saying he would spend 100m on x2 50m players is all fine but if we really are shopping for a CF he's really unlikely to get a real upgrade on Richy for 50m. I know people talk about Toney but I just can't see it for about 50 reasons. Age, attitude, profile fit, non-penalty goals... none of it adds up to a player we are dropping big money and wages on.

It's hard right now to see where the spend will come from but you are right about Lange and not being able to write any signings off yet. Nobody has a clue what we are up to.

Agreed. At best we get someone at a similar level, maybe a Jonathan David. Which doesn't get us into the title race, but would mean we suffer less when Richy is unavailable.
I am thinking that it is a CF they want and that's why the slow down in activity. Signing a striker for big money takes balls and they are being super careful to get it right. The club has a comfort zone up to 50/60m but going over that is going to require some serious conviction and confidence the player is what we need.

So still no real signing then? Before anyone says anything, yes I know we have acquired the services of a couple of 8 year olds. Great, I'm really pleased. I'm sure in 2031, they'll be first team ready, but until then time is ticking on and the Bald Cunt is doing nothing...

We need a striker, a winger and a new dm, but the Bald Cunt would rather build hotels and sign children.

Highest paid chairman in the league. What a fucking joke.
Transfer window bingo complete. Full card.

He could go one way or the other I think. Either he bucks up his idea's and plays quick, intelligent football.
Or he reverts back to hogging the ball for too long and our football is miserable and boring as a result.
Kulusevski is good for the squad because he's different. Different than Johnson on the wing, different than Maddison at 10 and different to Richy or Sonny as a striker. The squad needs variety and he brings that.
Personally I like the side to play really fast but a lot of people on here want their wingers to be able to hold the ball up, but when he holds it up you say he's a hog.
I guess that's the beauty of football, we all see it differently.

Not fussed personally - I am of the few who seem to think that we don't even need an elite striker to play in our system, we'd create numerous chances for them regardless - Riichy scored like 12 last season and the majority of them were tap ins or close range finishes.

We do need elite or close to elite wingers though.
We need forwards who can score a goal out of nothing. Someone who will have a go pull the trigger. Apart from a couple crackers v Everton richi isn’t like to score goals like that. As for timo and bj again no chance.

I’ll give you my opinion when the transfer window is done.

:nunothumb:

I think Archie Gray is a great signing though.

Sweet dreams xx
Im
Happy with gray also but it’s the other areas where we need to drastically improve like forwards. Ange said it himself so what is happening and going to happen. I’m hoping we pull some rabbits out of the bag. As it is I’d be happy with eze, Neto and Toney. They go straight into starting 11.

No one's going to win anything conceding 60+ goals a season. Yeah sure, his style will inherently make us concede more than the usual title challenging team but it can't be 60+.
Premier league winners, over a season, usually concede like 23-35 goals overall. There are clear defensive issues for us that need to be sorted out.
Not sure Ange is working on that based on pre season. Hearts missed some absolute sitters and so did qpr.
