Bentancur when he sees a Korean without Son on the back of his kit at WHL

No Way Wtf GIF by Harlem

Well well well.... He really don't wanna go West Ham does he.
Can’t blame him, it’s a small step up from Brentford especially as they have no Europe. Wages will be good and virtually no chance of a relegation battle. But it’s hit and miss if you make Europe or not and not a lot else going for it.

And sure they’ve won a trophy more recently than us, but no one takes that trophy seriously and it was their first in nearly 45 years.

With us he will def play Europe, we’re likely to qualify for Europe consistently, have a fairly good chance of Champions league most years and can offer top wages.

Probably won’t win anything either though bar maybe a league cup

So I didn't make it up?

What d'ya know :mourloopy:

I fully get people wondering why we didn't get any first team signings done before the tour... but maoning about an 18 year old kid scouted from a league that very clearly shows we have extended our scouting programme... morons.
Nah, it wasn't just here either. There were plonkers on youtube getting angry about it. And in some cases, they even confessed to wanting the data based model but also being angry we weren't signing a name they knew.

You joke but I don’t think people realize how much fucking wonga the Koreans bring to the club. I went to Wolves at home in February, there were thousands upon thousands of Koreans there. I believe Wolves have Hwang Hee-Chan so it was both of their national team’s best players. Still, Son is like a national hero there, he’s way bigger and more culturally important to Koreans than most realize.

We’ve got tons of die hard Korean fans now and continuing his legacy is a very smart business decision. It’s why I wish we’d have gone for Kim Min-Jae.
Spurs fans who moaned that we missed a golden opportunity when we didn’t sign KMJ when he played in the weaker Chinese League are now moaning that we’re signing a Korean from the weaker K-League.

I’ll never really comprehend this fanbase.

Min-Hyuk, Bergvall, Vuskovic... All will be HG within a few years.

Signing highly rated wonderkids young enough to also sort out the HG options. A classic Football Manager tactic 😂
