Spurs fans who moaned that we missed a golden opportunity when we didn’t sign KMJ when he played in the weaker Chinese League are now moaning that we’re signing a Korean from the weaker K-League.

I’ll never really comprehend this fanbase.

That's not too difficult actually. Basically it's a mix of this,

I think working permit may now be tied up with ESC status which was introduced recently. - an overview. Introducing ESC: the new GBE guidance opens up recruitment post Brexit - Analytics FC

South Korea is in the FIFA top 50 leagues in world , and as the player has already played 24 times for his club this year (plus at u17 level for South Korea), I think he qualifies. If he gets a full South Korean call up this autumn as some suspect, that can only help his cause.

There may be a limit of 2 such players for Spurs, and the other player is probably Vuskovic now on loan in Belgium to help his ESC position.

What's the coup with his National Service?

The Transfer Window isn't for everyone.

Most would be better just going away until the window closed.
I think we all would, honestly. It's 95% utter bollocks, worse now than ever. So many pointless arguments in between all the same old #ENICout copy.

Thankfully England made the Euro final. Now we just need the Olympics to start.

Matches will start sooner than feels possible, and eventually the squad will be finalized.

They'll be all up in your face the moment you say anything like:
They're not competetive
They don't spend enough money
They don't pay enough wages
The Stadium hasn't helped
We haven't won a sodding thing for 16 years
They actually don't want us to be successful as that raises expectations.

Just check for whoever disagrees with this or argues with it and they're the ones.
What about those ignoring it because it's utter bollox?

Think it'll be something along the lines of:

- Backup GK: De Gea or similar opp ie freebie in no position to ask for big wages & more than a 1yr deal (team option for 2nd)
- LB/LCB: another freebie like Hermoso (ex-Atleti)...La Liga & Serie A can't afford him, OM keen but if the PL comes knocking...
- CM: Eze for an amount most of us will call a mad decision in 12 months tops
- FWD: a Jonathan David-type...straight of the B-list basically
We'll be lucky to get top 4 and a decent run in the domestic cups. Europe will be used to give the younguns some mins.

All about year 3 or 4 anyway. Be patient. Meanwhile keep forking out more £ on ST, merch and experiences.
