I can agree that we haven't had first team ready signings in as early as we fans wanted them but, once again, we don't know the dynamics behind our perceived delays.

This isn't defending, this is me saying that, like you and every other bugger on this site, I have no fucking idea!

Daniel & his gang, Ange & co, players...they just weren't good enough at the end of the day.

Yes, there were mitigating circumstances such as that mad injury spell, but when all is said & done, we just didn't perform well enough. Our direct competitors did and that's how they finished ahead of us and some of them won stuff.

That's his main role in terms of what happens on the pitch isn't it? Appointing capable managers and ensuring the squad improves over transfer windows based on the advice and knowledge of those around him - many of whom he is responsible for employing.

Win the league and Levy should be carried on a throne down the highroad by the fans.

Get relegated and he should be flogged whilst carrying a cross down the high road.

I’m warming to Toney the player. Not sure about the guy. His goal return wasn’t great since his ban but he does bring players into the game well

I don't like where we are in the pecking order of European football, but thanks to the cock at the top, we are where we are. We don't sign those sorts of players and I doubt we ever will.
