Solanke should be top of that list. The Lad is ready for a big club now.

People sleep on him because he struggled to break through at Chelsea(which was never going to happen)

And at Liverpool they had that Suarez Sturridge and sterling front three.

I think he'll be great fit for us. He's a extremely well rounded forward. Great presser can link play and an excellent athlete. Has the pace to get in behind and also very good in the Air. Has tidy footwork too.

He's proving he can score all types of goals at this level now too.

I don't get it, he's scored more championship goals than Gyokeres in less games, scored more non penalty goals than Isak last season but most don't want him.

And another thing he is nearly always available, misses hardly any games.
That's a good post. I think Solanke is kind of overlooked to be honest. I have to admit that I'm one of those people that thinks "meh" when he's mentioned, but you make some really good points on him. He probably would be suited to our style of play, moreso than many of the other names bandied about.

None of Neto's injuries are recurring problems.

Chiesa tore his cruciate ligament and had regular knee problems ever since. And he's older.

Of the 2 Chiesa is probably the bigger injury risk over Neto. Just watch them, Neto looked just as explosive as always this summer, Chiesa has very clearly lost a couple of yards.
To follow up, I’d stay miles away from Chiesa.

But just on Neto by the way, I’m not actually sure that’s true on Neto. He had the same hamstring injury twice this past year. Like, he missed time, then recovered, then injured it again. Sure he was brilliant vs us but then missed most of the end of Wolves season. Hamstrings concern me.

I do get the 'meh' thinking, feels like he's been around for ages and there still is an element of risk with spending the money it will take to get him. He hasn't played loads of European football But that could be said about the others too.

I think it's a testament to his character though, wasn't the best of starts to his senior career but he's kept plugging away and now found his level(a premier striker). He's never been a bad player but he struggled for goals early on seems to have changed that now.

You just know AngeBall will lead to ‘TWANG!’ if we sign him! 🫣

Definitely an interesting one. Any time I’ve seen, which admittedly has only been on 3-4 occasions, he’s looked really good. Seems to have injury concerns but is 26 so coming in to his prime. Definitely would take a punt on him for the €30m mark as he’s got some real class
When does his contract expire? Are his club in financial difficulty?
