If you are saying Chiesa has his explosiveness back then that is at least encouraging. i didn't see much explosiveness in the Euros but Italy were a flaming heap of shit and I didn't watch every game.

Neto is a beast for strength as well as pace. We know he can force what he wants against the very best in the Prem. Chiesa is probably more technical but is he the guy that can create against a defender standing 3 yards off him?

I guess I can be open to the idea of Chiesa but he was pretty much agreed to go to Roma, why would we have only just decided to get involved now?
You can't judge players from International comps, players like Kane and Bellingham look poor and players like Pavlyuchenko and Lo Celso look awesome.

We only know what Neto can do in open space though, not v Low blocks.

According to some Italian media, Chiesa turned Roma down as he wasn't convinced of the project. You could question why we didn't get involved for Gray until Brentford came in.

Personally, I think the links to us are just your usual Italian Journo BS unfortunately, as I think he would be ideal for us.

I'm still in the back of my head hoping we go for Evan Ferguson. He didn't have much of a season last season, but he has the looks of someone going places in a year or two. As back up to Richy and Son the coming season and after that as competition for the no 1 spot with Lankshear.
Ferguson fits Ange's age bracket for signings as well. He was touted as the next Harry Kane in the last summer transfer window and was linked to a lot of big clubs. Didn't Brighton want £120m for him at the time?

He definitely didn't have a good season, injured, hardly started and hardly scored. If the metrics they used to say he was the next Kane are correct shouldn't he now be a decent buy now.

A wise man once said" buy a good striker after their worst season not after their best"

This is grealish all over again. Its just dumb.
Yeah but this time when city get Eze they will magnanimously loan us Grealish so we shouldn’t complain.

Fucking greedy cheating cunts.

If I was Eze or any other player I’m not sure I’d go to city. He may find himself playing in the championship or even lower. Also Pep and KDB plus I suspect many more will leave city next summer

In regards to Chiesa, you need to take a few things into account:
1) he was being played out of position, being played as a support striker.
2) he outperformed his xG.
3) he should have had 6 assists based on his xA, meaning the finishing from his teammates was poor.
4) his return was pretty good considering how Allegri's tactics are poor in attack.
5) they are willing to sell a 'key player'

I'm a bit worried for cover for left back. No one has been linked.

Is Archie Gray two-footed? Maybe he is the cover for both RB and LB.
Or is Oli Skipp the new backup Left back After last seasons late performances.

Why was he playing out of position?
Who was playing LW and RW?
