How Dry should our Powder be?

I’m not disputing we could/should be spending more than we do as a percentage of wages to turnover but just for some more context:

We have upped our wage bill - we now spend more than Arse on wages - it’s just that we’ve upped our turnover by even more % and there are only three of that top 100 teams that pay less salary/turnover ratio.

I think that context underlines the previous point

Actually think our wage bill will be a lot less now (which is good), but we really should be pushing on

Because he’s shit and always injured - Lecy will probably want 30M and I doubt anyone will pay more than 5
£30M should be the absolute minimum for him, in all honesty, regardless of his injuries and how you rate him personally.

If Emile Smith Rowe can go for £35M, after injuries and riding a bench for a season, we should expect at least that for a seasoned, Prem proven striker.

yep, dont get this eze hype at all. especially for 60m! cheisa at around 25m is a no brainer and should be done ASAP.
To be honest I'm a fan of him, he's a good player I fucked up by saying hard pass lol

I always thought it meant I find it hard to pass on it but yeah Il have to go back and edit it.

I just think we need to strengthen CF and RW with Sonny staying means he will be our LW and Maddison at AM...Solanke CF and Chiesa RW do that for me

And yet in the 'bottom 5' of that table we also see City, United and Woolwich... It's almost as if the topic of that table has nothing to do with either success, ambition or 'the lowest de facto squad investors in the PL' (whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean - other than another meaningless trolling phrase...) ...

But of course you know all of that already. If it were another poster, they might just have made a mistake and ignored those around us in that table, and the obvious messages to be concluded from that, but when it comes from undoubtedly the most disingenuous person on the entire forum, I think we can all be pretty confident that you know exactly what you're posting, and are deliberately ignoring any messages within it that detract from your narrative in order to bait as many as possible (including those on 'your side' who react to such posts, doing your dirty work for you so you never get your hands 'card-dirty'). Not sure I've ever come across anyone so conniving and disingenuous.
Wait for it...

isak is elite? hes good no doubt but i dont think many would say hes an elite striker. not even sure hes better than toney.
Isak is Emmanuel Adebayor if he was a serial professional. Of course he’s elite.

Although I may be biased, I wanted him to replace Kane in summer ‘21 which I’m sure I’d have been hung drawn and quartered for had I been in a position of power at Spurs and made that move.

So the SC melters are convinced that Neto is the guy, the “ITKs” keep posting in his thread about how big of a priority he is.

Can I ask, is there any real evidence that we’re prioritizing Neto this window? I’m looking for media reporting and it’s basically non existent. It’s basically stuff like “Spurs are interested but not at crazy fees” from Romano and the likes. Doesn’t seem close at all.

I’ll be astounded if we are. We moan about Levy but he’s be well within his rights not to want to sign off on Neto. Injuries and hardly prolific because of it.
