Ive never known a chairman though to sack a manager a week before a cup final. Strange.I’ll be astounded if we are. We moan about Levy but he’s be well within his rights not to want to sign off on Neto. Injuries and hardly prolific because of it.
Exactly. It was passed into a family trust..

I think that context underlines the previous point
Actually think our wage bill will be a lot less now (which is good), but we really should be pushing on
Pay as you play contract, otherwise how does he pass the medical?
I recall the heady days when Paulinho and Soldado were considered genuinely huge signings. As chris cowlin said last week our last statement signing was klinsmann in 94. Getting isak would be a statement signing. Hit the ground running.

History has rightly removed their statementness.

Yeah I’ll always look back at that and think only a Spurs chairman would do that. I mean he probably wouldn’t have won it as we weren’t in a good place but any hopes of winning it went out the window when we gave him the sack. Our desperation to prevent him from winning it with us outweighed our desperation to win something for the club. HilariousIve never known a chairman though to sack a manager a week before a cup final. Strange.
I hate Levy, cannot stand the little bastard but I just don’t think that’s true - the dressing room was in turmoil and it was a Hail Mary long shotYeah I’ll always look back at that and think only a Spurs chairman would do that. Eze + Solanke for me - though i wouldn't be unhappy with Chiesa -
Toney would do ok for us I'm sure - just haven't really warmed to him attitude wise and think that's a big reason why a team like Woolwich & Man u - who desperately need a player like him, are staying away
Left side of the attack, or as an 8Where would you play Eze? He is a good player no doubt but I can’t see where he would fit in

Yes, but outside Haaland he is the best CF in the PL. Maybe signing Ferdinand from Newcastle was a similar level too as he was was one of the best in the league at that time.
