Yes, but outside Haaland he is the best CF in the PL. Maybe signing Ferdinand from Newcastle was a similar level too as he was was one of the best in the league at that time.
Considered one of Germany's premier strikersduring the 1990s, Klinsmann scored in all six major international tournaments he participated in for Germany, from the UEFA Euro 1988 to the 1998 FIFA World Cup. In 1995, he came in third in the FIFA World Player of the Year award; in March 2004 he was named in the FIFA 100 list of the "125 Greatest Living Footballers".[4] In 2016, he became the fifth player to be named as honorary captain of Germany.[5][6]

We hould have bigger ambitions if we want to win silverware. Thats why were a nearly team.

Left side of the attack, or as an 8

Exactly my point. He plays in son and Maddison positions. His best position in as a CAM imo and it’s a toss up between him and Maddison??
Eze is not better than son as a LWF in a Ange system. If we spend 60m on him as our only attacking signing it will leave us completely unbalanced imo

I know who Klinsmann is mate, I was lucky enough to have a season ticket for his season.

Salah was anything but world class before signing for Liverpool though...

Klopp didn't even want him.

No one can read into the future so signing players off the back of what they've done elsewhere in different systems is pointless.

Soldado was one of the greatest finishers in European football before we signed him.

We should be looking at profile. Not what their output is at other clubs. Which is why I imagine we're linked with Neto. Quite literally the perfect Ange winger. He would be ridiculously good in this set up, the issue is his fitness and the price tag quoted. His output for a counter attacking Wolves team should be the last thing anyone looks at.

And the same with Chiesa. When it comes down to it and you look at Chiesa. You ask yourself does this guy fit what Ange wants from his wingers, can he beat a man 1 v 1, is he direct... He ticks every box, again though the concern with Chiesa is the fitness problems, but at least his price tag is realistic.
I want my props!!! I was banging on about signing him at Basel !! But oh no we had the hots for Sadio Berahino..... In the spirt of full disclosure I might have wanted Berahino too, but I rather you all over look this inconvenient truth.
