Alvarez is absolutely superb, would do great for us imo. But no chance we're shelling out £90m for him, I'd say it's a pretty fair price in today's market.
We have seen this film before though, the club seems to not be worried about, having a couple of poor results at start of season, just as long as they wait until price drops.Really poor that we've done nothing to upgrade the attack.
Still time of course but looking increasingly unlikely that they will be ready for the opening of the season .
His first half an hour is a verbal rerun of the match which everyone has seen, and then how he cutely asked Ange three dumbass questions.
Then he moves on to transfer news, which in all fairness is as informative as anything you could find in the mainstream media.
I gave up watching his dialogues ages ago, for me It's like sucking on a lemon whilst picking a scab.
We did it last season and had a fantastic start. We have seen this film before though, the club seems to not be worried about, having a couple of poor results at start of seas6, just as long as they wait until price drops.

because those are not good enough attacking options to do anything of note in this league? If Son, Werner, Kulu, Johnson, Richy, Soloman are fit. Why would we be in a rush to sign somebody? Veliz, Moore, Lankshear, Scarlett, Donley also options.
If we sign somebody now for big $$$, it has to be someone that is good enough to go into the 'first 11' - and that isn't Tooney, Chiesa.
Looking at that list, I don't think we have a slot without moving Solomon. Looks a stupid signing. We have 6 midfielders plus Devine, Donley and Kulu so can't see where Ramsey or Gallagher would go.We still have room for a couple of overseas born players on our PL squad list if needed and a couple of HG players.
Overseas. ......... ....................... HG
1.Vicario. .............................. 16. Foster
2.Porro. .......................... 17. Austin (CT)
3. Romero. . ...................... 18. Spence
4. VDV. ................................. 19. Davies
5. Dragusin........ ...... .... 20. Maddison
6. Udogie. ......... ............... 21. Gray
7. Bissouma
8. Sarr
9. Bentancur
10. Kulusevski
11. Sonny
12. Richarliason
13. Werner
14. Solomon
15. Bergvall **
** Bergvall can be under 21 for PL but I think he is foreign born for Europa squad.
The Europa squad will need to be different as they require 4 club trained players in the 25. We don't really have CT unless they keep Skipp just for Europa. We have plenty of under 21 players that can play though.
Solomon, wener, Richy have not been good enough, Johnson is young, so needs a bit more time and son, is not the plater he was.If Son, Werner, Kulu, Johnson, Richy, Soloman are fit. Why would we be in a rush to sign somebody? Veliz, Moore, Lankshear, Scarlett, Donley also options.

Absolutely no chance Richy startsI suspect it’ll be Son - Richi - Johnson or maybe a new signing for Richi if we decide to sell him to SA

He also wants crazy money.According to the Italian press, Chiesa's agent is in London to meet Tottenham and Chelsea.
The player has had offers from Arabia and Türkiye but if he has to leave Juventus he wants top Premier League clubs
Chelsea would be good, he would take minutes from Madueke who was turning into a genuine problem.According to the Italian press, Chiesa's agent is in London to meet Tottenham and Chelsea.

I hope he is the answer, but I don't think he will be.Well, when he was briefly fit last season, Richy bagged 11 goals and 4 assists. That a goal contribution every 90 minutes.
If we can get him to put in a decent shift this season, he will bag more than 20 goals. Problem is keeping him fit.
Not charged, nothing proven. Also, so what?
You say it here when he was briefly fit. The problem is he played with an injury for a year and we don’t know what kind of damage playing under pain killers for a year has done.Well, when he was briefly fit last season, Richy bagged 11 goals and 4 assists. That a goal contribution every 90 minutes.
