I don't think that matters too much tbh.
When we were close to signing van de Ven, he played in friendlies for Wolfsburg a day or two before being seen at the Shakhtar game...
Kane played 3 or so days before signing for Bayern etc.

thats a joke if they were! i thought kane and ndom was 250. would of thought hugo and perisic 150 and donkey dier 100 too much.Pretty sure Kane, Hugo and Perisic were on more than 250. Whatever it is, it's still a fuckton of cash that hasn't seen like for like replacements in the squad.

The way Ange plays, we need to have this SORT OF quality across our first 11 to do anything this season.
For a club that is on a rebuild with lofty ambitions (apparently), this is the DIRECTION we should be going in.
There's nothing magical there; it's just a solid top 6 upwards team that could justify talk of challenging/cups.
*Yes, I'd consider playing Romero there against city/scum/chelsea/pool/manure and maybe a couple others, as we're, typically, an almighty mess in transition/turnovers and would need his aggression, reading, recovery and game on the ball. He sits right in front of CB and we instantly have proper hard-as-nails security at the centre of our game.

Kaz Hirai do you think we don't need that sort of quality to play Ange's style in the prem (to achieve anything)?
What do you think would work best with his style of play, to offer proper balance?
Because we will be shipping just as many goals next season, as it stands, and squandering just as many good opportunities in the final third.
Football Insider (I know, I know) saying we’ve hijacked Gallagher…
Fuck’s sake, Tottenham.
Agree for most teams. With Neto and Eze in there, you don't need Romero as the 6.... So probably best off sticking our best defender in his best position.
Because with Neto and Eze you'll already see the ball retention we lack in the final third, meaning less turnovers and less defensive action required.
You'd be best off blooding Gray there if you're not keen on Bissouma.
First rule of Ange is that the player wants to play for Spurs. Gallagher clearly doesn't.Football Insider (I know, I know) saying we’ve hijacked Gallagher…

Taken at gunpoint to Atletico with any luck!Football Insider (I know, I know) saying we’ve hijacked Gallagher…

Why would that be a problem in the team I selected, where he would bring the same skillset, but just in front of the CB's... where he could also slot in between, at times to form a high line 3 to let 7 freely attack?tbh I was just tickled by you dropping Son for James Maddison, and playing one of the worlds best CBs in midfield

Come off it, he would rather stay at Chelsea than join any other club.At least with Spurs he knows that Ange really appreciates him. He would do a great job moving the ball from defence to attack, the only player I would take from Chelsea except for Reece James when at his best.First rule of Ange is that the player wants to play for Spurs. Gallagher clearly doesn't.
Ideally we would:
Buy- Gyokeres, Neto, Eze
Sell- Richarlison, Lo Celso, Solomon
First XI attack and midfield:
Son Gyokeres Neto
Eze Bissouma Maddison
Rotation attack and midfield:
Werner/Moore Kulusevski Johnson
Sarr Gray Bergvall
