Biss is a better #6 than Romero
Gray is a better #6 than Romero
Bentancur is a better #6 than Romero
Sarr is probably a better #6 than Romero

Nobody in the FUCKING WORLD is a better CB than Romero... so maybe we should just leave him there?

Were you campaigning to move Kane to RW?
None of those players could do what I've suggested Romero do - in certain scenarios - better than Romero.

A lot of hysteria going on tbh.

*Because Kane lost pace, I suggested he play #10 (AT TIMES), where he would get more assists and still score loads of goals.

SC megaminds went bonkers (some are on here now...going bonkers now); Kane went on to play not only 10 (unofficially), he dropped even deeper and controlled games - increasing his assists and ending up being our highest goal scorer.

Clear to see he had the technique to do what the fuck he wanted and still score tons. you just had to be able to see it.

It's lonely living in the future.

Doesn’t surprise me. Ange is well aware of him being potentially a bad egg. He won’t want that in the dressing room. If he’s being a bellend in October then we stuck with him. I’m not won over by a few weeks, that’s for sure.
Ffs how much of a bad egg is he? He is far more talented than say Davies and skipp I know diff positions but surely you got to have the raw materials first. Anyway how does anyone know if he is a bad egg.

I see your point, but he would, I'm my opinion, against the best front lines in the league, be best suited to CB and us having our best 6 play at 6 for our forward transitions.
We had him as CB and our "best 6" play last season and shipped 60+ goals, mate.

Wake tf up.

You keep saying that like it's some sort of ideal, when it was a train-wreck, in context.

With him on we have an extra CB that can slot in, who has an ideal skillset to sit just there and become an extra CB.

Dragusin Romero VDV on recoveries against City/Scum etc., would make me far more comfortable than anything else, right now.

It's clear we need extra security.

Ange is a wild mthfkr, let's face it.

Postecoglou may stand or fall on Gallagher if he comes and fails to change the picture.

Seems clear Postecoglou sees something that to me seems well hidden.

Good player no question; but good enough?

We need a midfiekder but is Gallagher the best we can get for whatever that need is?

I think Ange thinks we need a press monster of sorts in the 8 position? Apart from Sarr who else at this point can do this for us?
I don’t particularly rate Gallagher but I do understand why Ange would want him or someone like him

Dm is a difficult position to play, you can’t just put anyone in there.

You need to be able to be composed on the ball under pressure from all sides. It’s very different to being on the ball as a defender with the opposition in front of you.
Romero is not just anyone tho, is he.

Fuck me, this is tiring.

We lost the ball all the time in midfield all last season...no one there has been "composed".

Exactly why we need a specific defensive measure/option.

People acting like we've had actual defensive functionality in MF.

Very strange.

Absolutely not.

They came in, having been starters in top 5 leagues.

Not that hard to give playing time to them after they are proven in men's game.
SO FAR (but I hope it will change), Ange has given roughly zero chance for any of the youngsters to brake onto senior stage.
The desire to classify Udogie and Sarr as youngsters is hilarious given they were established starters in Ligue 1 and Serie A when we brought them in.

Ange touting them as evidence of him playing youth products is even more pathetic. Give Donley, Moore and Devine minutes you fat coward.

Decent window so far 67/10, not mad if you say 8/10, just missing that cherry on top of the icing!

Until we sign a player for the starting eleven, it's pretty hard to rate it any higher than a 6.

And it's only a 6 because we've managed to get rid of alot of shit that shouldn't have filled the squad up. Which is great

Weve made one addition to the squad this window and it's a teenager for 40m and he isn't even a starter.

They are all better at #6
It’s really that simple
