None of those players could do what I've suggested Romero do - in certain scenarios - better than Romero.Biss is a better #6 than Romero
Gray is a better #6 than Romero
Bentancur is a better #6 than Romero
Sarr is probably a better #6 than Romero
Nobody in the FUCKING WORLD is a better CB than Romero... so maybe we should just leave him there?
Were you campaigning to move Kane to RW?
Ffs how much of a bad egg is he? He is far more talented than say Davies and skipp I know diff positions but surely you got to have the raw materials first. Anyway how does anyone know if he is a bad egg.Doesn’t surprise me. Ange is well aware of him being potentially a bad egg. He won’t want that in the dressing room. If he’s being a bellend in October then we stuck with him. I’m not won over by a few weeks, that’s for sure.
Exactly!
It cannot be 0.
Donley played 3 minutes.
Moore played 3 minutes.
But it is very close to 0. Ange gave almost no chance to youngsters in last season. This is undenayable.
Not the perfect solution, all being said, but the best stop -gap option imo that we should consider for specific games, until Baldcunt stumps up for a proper DM.
Ironic as Emerson is like the terd that won’t flush
We had him as CB and our "best 6" play last season and shipped 60+ goals, mate.I see your point, but he would, I'm my opinion, against the best front lines in the league, be best suited to CB and us having our best 6 play at 6 for our forward transitions.
Postecoglou may stand or fall on Gallagher if he comes and fails to change the picture.
Seems clear Postecoglou sees something that to me seems well hidden.
Good player no question; but good enough?
We need a midfiekder but is Gallagher the best we can get for whatever that need is?
Romero is not just anyone tho, is he.Dm is a difficult position to play, you can’t just put anyone in there.
You need to be able to be composed on the ball under pressure from all sides. It’s very different to being on the ball as a defender with the opposition in front of you.
Watched quite a lot of him last season.See west ham are getting summerville from leeds. Good player he is.
The desire to classify Udogie and Sarr as youngsters is hilarious given they were established starters in Ligue 1 and Serie A when we brought them in.Absolutely not.
They came in, having been starters in top 5 leagues.
Not that hard to give playing time to them after they are proven in men's game.
SO FAR (but I hope it will change), Ange has given roughly zero chance for any of the youngsters to brake onto senior stage.
Gotta hand it to the clubSo just 19 days until we play Leicester. Team looks like it will be the same as last season, so far.

Decent window so far 67/10, not mad if you say 8/10, just missing that cherry on top of the icing!
They are all better at #6None of those players could do what I've suggested Romero do - in certain scenarios - better than Romero.
A lot of hysteria going on tbh.
*Because Kane lost pace, I suggested he play #10 (AT TIMES), where he would get more assists and still score loads of goals.
SC megaminds went bonkers (some are on here now...going bonkers now); Kane went on to play not only 10 (unofficially), he dropped even deeper and controlled games - increasing his assists and ending up being our highest goal scorer.
Clear to see he had the technique to do what the fuck he wanted and still score tons. you just had to be able to see it.
It's lonely living in the future.
