How are they completely different profiles? Both are rapid, short-ish players whose main value is running down the wing and delivering crosses. Both are terrible finishers.

Werner, like Johnson, are good when they have space in front of them. That's it. They're two of the easiest wingers to keep quiet or shut out of games
They have a place in the squad but currently I would say neither are good enough long term to take any serious team forward.
Neto, being the better footballer he is, can work the tight spaces, can play the intricate passes, one twos to open up a team. But can also work the open space when the opportunity arise
