That's a fair point. Especially considering they also signed Havertz for 65m and Timber for 38m in the same transfer window.

We all know Levy would never be that aggressive in one transfer window.
As painful as it is, the way they’re going about things is as solid as you’re going to see in terms of building a team to compete and win things.

They realised they have an excellent manager in Arteta, they let him trim and mould the squad the way he wants, and they have consistently backed him with quality players in the 30/40/50/60 million price range every window. And to add to that, if they believe there’s a player out there to really make a difference, they’ve shown they are willing to go balls to the wall to bring in a 100 million player.

And here’s the thing, whisper is quietly for some around here, there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t be able to act like them. Absolutely zero.
We were in an almost identical position to them 5 years ago with Pochettino and our owners made and absolutely cock and balls of it, showing without absolutely any doubt that they have no ambition to really make us a top side to genuinely compete.

If you could choose one out of Eze, Gyokeres or Neto; who would it be?
Olmo!!!

After both Gold and POK made this guy look like a bumbling fool, it's hard to take any post he makes seriously.
This fraud tweeter got exposed by POK and AG.
He did. I know that's why I said it at the start of my post.

Doesn't mean he doesn't have that contact at Wolves that he named as their physio. Definitely feels like we are about to get a Neto news cycle for the rest of the window.

Only pressing really, Werner's off the ball work is pretty good.

Yeah, I should have clarified as an offensive footballer.

Neto’s off the ball work is shoddy (but then how much is that down to instruction?)

Werner is pretty good off the ball in terms of getting back and in the right positions but he's incredibly lazy in his approach to actually winning/intercepting

''No no no'' the way Don Logan says it.
So another journo on ManU's wage list!!

£40 mil for McTominay!!

90% of what he does in the highlights is running down the wing and delivering crosses, which is Werner's bread and butter.

Werner, like Johnson, are good when they have space in front of them. That's it. They're two of the easiest wingers to keep quiet or shut out of games

They have a place in the squad but currently I would say neither are good enough long term to take any serious team forward.

Neto, being the better footballer he is, can work the tight spaces, can play the intricate passes, one twos to open up a team. But can also work the open space when the opportunity arise

It's exactly why I'd expect Moore to get more game time than expected. A much better profile fit than either of them too.

Yeah I know

but this guy says he has contacts with a physio at Wolves and actually named him before lol.

Either way, looks like we are about to get the Neto news cycle.

Tottenham will be an ideal place for his career as they see him playing more minutes there...
...yeah, and also our Physio and fitness rehab facilities are second to none!
