I do find it amusing though that some people would turn their nose up at Solanke but fall head over heels for someone like Toney.

Especially as Toney would be considered the "cheaper" option too.

I don’t think you understand.

If we sign all 3 of them then it’ll cost £150m+.

Do you genuinely believe Daniel Levy is going to sanction £150m+ in a transfer window for 3 mid table PL players?

Having them 3 as the primary targets almost guarantees disappointment and missing out. There’s no way in hell we sign all 3, and we’ll go into the season short.

i dont think we'd aim to sign all 3 anyway - don't think theres room in the squad unless others go. so not really sure what point youre making tbh

2 is more likely, although haven't seen anything at all on eze for some time

Neto at silly money with his injury re ord is a huge risk, made even more risky with Anges style of football, could his hamstrings handle it, seems unlikely.
Prefer Solanke to Toney, but only at the right money, which seems unlikely, think we are going to get rinsed either way. Supposed the home grown is playing a part here also.

I don’t think anyone’s head over heels with Toney. More a begrudging acknowledgement that we might be able to get a deal. Although it looks like he’s after a payday.

I don’t want to spend big money on either. There’s a lack of strikers about. Sink it into a star winger instead.

It was confirmed earlier this year (or late last year) that Romano is fed information by agents and intermediaries.

Some clubs he obviously has links with. But he is mainly a mouthpiece for agents.
Yep- and so the huge influence of agents/ intermediaries has meant he is a reliable source. But no one should get carried away- it's not like anyone has reported we're in advanced negotiations for Solanke.

Solanke is a much much better fit for the way we play.

His pressing numbers don't surprise me either. Tbh I'm at the stage of trying not to get too invested as opposed to trying to persuade myself to want him.
