McTominay would be a terrific signing.Mactominay is Horse shit. I cannot think of a midfielder in our squad poorer than him, PEH is a much better player also
There certainly are, which is why I see us risking a move on Neto.like who? theres a shortage of them, who we can realistically get.
Fucking hell, Solanke cope-athon here. Get the stats out and the articles written by incel armchair analysts quick.
Signing a player who's turning 27 next month and has had one decent top level season for big money is completely fucking bananas, especially for one of the richest football clubs in the world.
Kane out Solanke in and some of you are still defending the prospect. It's fucking crazy.
Really hope this is utter bollocks.
As you can tell from my user and avi, I'm a big Richy fan. I think Solanke would be a significant upgrade tbh. He changes the type of physical threat we pose, he presses as well or even better than Richy and he can play 38 prem games. And if he doesn’t do it again, we won’t be able to sell him.
I get our strategy. I’ve made my peace with elements of it. But we’d be repeating the mistake we always make - overpaying for ok talent.
I’d rather keep Richie.
would rather see cheisa myself. think if he can be fit hed be a menace in this league. reminds me a bit of tevez, got the dog fight in him and the quality. There certainly are, which is why I see us risking a move on Neto.
Solanke all day every day
Why are we so up in arms with a 1 in 2 striker for Bournemouth who is literally the architectural fit for Ange's pressing system?
Toney's best season in the PL and Championship are both better than Solanke's.
Ask a group of fans if Solanke is the missing link that is difference between top 6 and winning a title and I suspect only about 15% wouldn't laugh
Romano like everyone else has proven he knows nothing about what is going on yet people are still getting their knickers in a twist about Solanke.
For what it's worth Solanke is a good player who would probably be a success here but no way we pay what Bourenmeouth want (60m plus).
If I trusted the club to save the money and go after their primary target in 12 months, I’d say neither and stick with Richie.
Before last season his record in the PL was poor- 6 goals in 22/23 and 3 goals in 19/20.Why are we so up in arms with a 1 in 2 striker for Bournemouth who is literally the architectural fit for Ange's pressing system?

He wasn't included in the England squad, and nor was there a clamour for him to go from the PL viewing public.
Edit:
Solanke also underperformed his xG last season- was 19.6 and he scored 19 goals.
Also the ball doesn’t bounce off Solanke like it does Richy 50% of the time. His first touch is really average. As you can tell from my user and avi, I'm a big Richy fan. Love Richy but if we do have concerns about his fitness, this is a very smart move.
we have two wide forwards, a 10 and inverted full backs that push up so high and inside they basically become additional cams. the striker needs to be a box predator imo.
