He hasn't let the world alight for either Argentina or City... perhaps I'm being harsh but 11 goals from 31 starts for City in the PL last season isn't good enough considering the supply they have.
Couple of good finishes in his time at City but apart from that hasn’t shown loads. Maybe he’s got more in his all round game than what’s come out but not convinced. If he wasn’t at City i doubt many would want him.

Not a superstar, but a good player who could become a very good one. Seems a good kid, dedicated to his craft, willing to learn and improve. Fitness and CF skills much better than a few years ago. Put a Kvara or Nico around him and yeah could defo see him bag 20-25 across all comps. Different story with Werner & BJ/Kulu, though.

If he was doable for 30 mil and came here as backup to our world class No 9, I'd say no-brainer. But Kane's gone, replaced by Richy, and the Cherries likely to ask for 50-60 odd mil for the lad.

Isak is the dream. Lautaro, Ramos, Openda, Alvarez...they too excite me. None of them happening, though. We don't do A-listers.
Not sure Solanke would go to any club to be a back up but I hear you on everything else.

Of the name linked to us Openda was my top choice but only because I've never really seen Gyokeres. Solanke probably next one down the list IMO.
Get Neto and Son either side of him and that isn' an easy front 3 to defend.

Isak and Lautaro just never happening with Levy and the current board we have.

Play him as City’s main striker instead of Haaland though and watch that number rise.

In terms of strikers I dont know if there’s one in world football that would suit Anges play style better than Alvarez.
Not kidding but he is to old Jamie Vardy 5 years ago would be perfect . I reckon two rapid wingers need a rapid forward to be there for tap ins to our crosses .

Can’t stand him though

I love the way you go to all that trouble in an effort to disprove my point but actually end up spelling it out perfectly for everyone.

Cheers mate. :ange-clap:

Not really mate. You wana wax lyrical about Woolwich's project under Arteta have at it mate. Just pointing out how factually incorrect you are.

Their fans were calling for his head 2 years ago and they were a bit of a laughing stock..... even we finished above them with a half season of Nuno under put belts.

You want a project like theirs, then you're getting it. You can bitch and moan about Levy all you want.... he's not going anywhere right now and the incessant complaining isn't going to change a thing.

It's really funny the way he and others try and make themselves feel all pukka by claiming Ange was proper backed last summer......overlooking the obvious fact he had our world class, record breaking striker sold on the eve of the new season and subsequently replaced with fresh air

Yeah....way to back your manager, man. . :harrylol:

Been waiting days mate....

Jonathan David.... what do you think about his positional awareness? First touch? Heading? Passing? Anything?????

What I find funny is that he literally praised Woolwich for doing the exact same thing that we are doing a few hours earlier...

Apparently they backed Arteta by providing him with quality additions yet when we do it we signed players because of previous squad mismanagement as if Woolwich weren't being mismanaged before Arteta took over, see how the narrative just switches when it comes to our own club :harrylol:

What is he not good at?

Finishing? Can do pretty much every finish you need. Great in the air.

Movement? Really good movement in behind and in the box. Gets on the end of the exact chances we ttry to create.

Hold up? Has all the tools and technicals

Passing? Decent passing CF. Not Kane but who is.

Mate you're wasting your time.

My bet is those who aren't interested in him barely, if ever watched him play last season.

Anything that can bring the conversation back to Levy.... and they think you're obsessed.
