The hesitation over Donley moving on loan makes me think if he gets through the Bayern game tomorrow and does alright, we may keep him on as LB depth.

Which in turn will probably rule out signing a CB (as Romero, VDV, Dragusin and Davies should realistically be fine until Jan atleast)
Donley?
That would he insanely fucking stupid to trust a 19 year old attacking midfielder who literally just got 'converted' into a left back to start games in the premiership should udogie be injured.

Just had to blast through about twenty pages of this thread.

In summary it looks like we’re having a bog standard window. Plenty of “looking at” players and no action.

Managers change but certain others don’t

I imagine we'd probably start van de Ven LB and Dragusin CB in the Prem in the event of an Udogie injury.

Udogie gets rested for Europe for Donley though, to also give one of the centre backs a rest.

Or we could just buy a left sided centre back capable of playing LB if one becomes available.

For the record, Ange’s comments are broadly reasonable.

But the change of tune is why his behaviour after the City game boiled a lot of people’s piss. All of a sudden he was this competitive monster that couldn’t fathom compromising any situation, regardless of the outcome, if it meant not winning in that moment.

Now he’s back to ‘see the wood for the trees’ Ange.

Not saying osimhen the one I want is at Newcastle if we are willing to spend 65 on solanke I would go the extra mile and go all in for isak. Napoli will never get 120 mill for osimhen unless someone stupid pays like Woolwich. For how we play isak is the best one to get 6 foot 4 pace scored a shitload last season and chips in with assists. And way more technically sound then solanke

Isak gonna cost double of what Solake costs and Newcsstle don't have to sell anymore anyway, pointless even speculating over that one.

Isak likely sees us as a step sideways at best right now.

Spurs fans need to accept that we have to buy players long before they become established stars; anything else is delusional thinking.

Solanke is an excellent all round CF. Much better than Toney in my opinion

It's about building the best team not having players that are shiny new thing. Solanke and Neto would be excellent business
