I like Solanke, he's probably better than Richarlison in everything. He is a lot better at passing and has a better first touch, those two atributes alone would improve us massively uprfront with Son playing in the left too.

I would like a credible signal that is sufficient to attract top tier players.

I was indicating that with the right investment and a credible belief externally that we could compete for titles then we could attract great players despite being Europa league only.

Right now there is certainly NOT a belief that we are serious about winning things externally. Pundits don't believe it, fans don't believe it. Why would top players?
I mean most of our fans seem happy with top 4 every few seasons & being miles behind our bitter rivals. Not very attractive is it. Kind of a cushty team to join as it’s in London, lovely facilities & not expected to even win a carling cup.

He is a tricky one to decide on. People who actually watch a lot of him are very divided. He looks like a solid 7/8 out of 10 player. Handy but not a world beater.
We'll have to hear about him all season, perfect player for all sorts of projections. He'll be the missing link, proof that Levy's cheapness is holding us back after every loss for some. He'll be a mediocre over-priced player, a bullet dodged by the smart new regime after every victory by others.

Ha. When In reality he is probably a decent player but not a key one. I can take or leave him. It’s a big blow losing royal too. He was the perfect scapegoat when we lost. He would go from ‘worst footballer ever’ to ‘most improved player ’ based on one half of football against Luton.

Solanke hmmmm. Had a very good season but I worry that’s his peak & he has hit his ceiling. Suits being the main man at a mid table team. But I didn’t expect him to be as good as he was last season so who knows.

My wage demands would break the current structure unfortunately.
What! Don’t forget levy will supply you with 1 pair of gloves every 5 seasons. & a clean sheet bonus.*
*1 free drive around the go kart track.

De gea is a free agent & our defence is used to a keeper dodgy from crosses. Thinking outside the box. Don’t think he was as bad as people made out.

About Amir Richardson
I'm sure he's pretty good.
But I'm thinking our midfield is full.
#6 Bissouma - Gray
#8 (#10, we don't really play with a #10) Bentancour, Sarr, Maddison, Bergwall (Kulusevski), Moore, Devine, Hall
There must be more pressing holes to fill..

Cover for Maddison is still needed if he gets injured or is playing shite (which is a distinct possibility). His passing game sets up a lot of our wingers plays and we don't have another player with his passing skills.

Kulusevski is ok in there at a pinch, Bergvall seems to have a confident passing game and might do well in there. Donley was a good creator in the 21s, not sure how those skills transfer to the big boys.

I say we give Bergvall a shot as our backup 8/10 … and save ENIC’s precious precious money for (1) a No. 9, (2) a RW who can dribble past defenders and (3) everyone’s favorite - Real estate developments.

He played 28 games last season. Haaland played 31. Omishen only played 24.
28 games, but only 43% minutes. Couple times he was coming from the bench cause Ange said he was ready only for 20-30 minutes due to fitness. We spent more time on the pitch without him than with him. We were not able to rely on him during the season where we played mostly once a week. Hope he sort it somehow, but wise club needs to plan life without him.
