With all your brilliantly witty and hilarious jokes at the expense of the club you support that people are forcing themselves to laugh at I actually take that as a compliment! ;)

Edit - Oh look another one right on que, keep it up

I've lost track of where we are with attacking players as the window progresses. Are we looking like we might get one or two?

I would have loved Neto and Eze. Not convinced by Toney. He is a better player than Richie I think, but obviously an interesting character and might not work in the dressing room? Actually think Richie is worth trying for another season as for the 15 or so games he was fit last season, he was very good. And with at least one better wide player such as Neto serving him, he could be a 20+ goals no.9.

If we just sign one of Neto, Eze or Chiesa, it would be OK, though the team really needs two new elite forward players.

Noises are pointing to Solanke, maybe Neto, Eze I doubt.

What's worse is I'd have agreed but I'm going to tag him here ( Shadydan Shadydan ) he's been making some great point but he kills it with the mindless determination to tread on any criticism of the club that isn't "they didn't support Poch because of the stadium".

You've put this in quotes like I said that, I didn't.

The problem isn't what I say it's your reading comprehension and taking things I say out of context and putting your own spin on them just to argue the point back, boring.

I'm getting 2018 vibes tbh.

Gray and Bergvall barely count for this season, and Werner was already here.

Banter club. As always.
I said the same last week.

The thing I hate most People think Richarlison is anything more than a streaky player especially since he has only scored one goal which was more than his first touch.

He is always going to be a 10-13 a season goal player who cannot hold up the ball. On top of that he doesn't really have a position he players somewhere between a slow winger and a No 9.

Do people here rate Solanke? I find it a bit depressing that we seem to punch so far below our revenue / profitability weight in the transfer market?
People seem divided. He wouldn't be cheap, he has a 65m release clause and will likely go for around that.

Personally I think he seems fine, people are saying he has good linkup and is great at pressing, and he scored 19 goals for Bournemouth last season.

He’s a strange one (not uncommon around here to be fair) - He thinks Levy/ENIC are the Club. Or maybe he’s being paid by ENIC, his last name is Levy or he’s sexually attracted to Daniel. Regardless, I have him on Ignore.

Remember last season when it took us a while to sign VDV and people here started theorising our starting CBs will be Lenglet and Dier.
I remember people complaining that we went for the cheaper option instead of Tapsoba. Hindsight is 20/20 especially when things work out. I love how history gets re-written as if VDV as a scouting masterstroke, as if we were monitoring him since he was born. Yes, credit where credit is due for buying him but alot more is due VDV's way. He has performed above and beyond what any of those suits could have dreamt of. VDV has an exemplary attitude for someone so young in the game.

That is the only point of criticism for the club that I have ever seen you accept.

If I'm wrong and there are others and I missed them, I'm all ears (or eyes in this case). Bet you won't though. Instead you'll just deny you ever even said that because I quoted it and it wasn't word for word.

Think you're being a bit unfair. The key question for me with Richie is can he stay fit. Agree he isn't a hold up the ball/win free kicks / pens forward. He is weak at that. But he's better than a 10-13 goal merchant. He scored that last season in the one third of the season he was fit.
