They were big before the advent of the EPL when it didn’t take a billion pounds to jump tiers as it does now.
They were probably the three biggest teams in England before Lewis and his cohorts bought a mid-table club.

Two of them — you’ll hopefully figure out which two — had major markets with little or no competition.

1. Yes you can but if it’s ok to criticise or post opinions on a potential incoming then its also ok for people to ask what alternatives you suggest. All part of a more rounded discussion surely.

2. Agree we need incomings and have never denied that.

3. Well it’s hard not to view ENIC Outers as anything but “the enemy” when they (and I should clarify some, not all, far from it) abuse (or post sarcastic/derogatory posts about) those who aren’t spending all their time on here posting anti-Levy messages. It’s very clear there’s a handful (like I said not all) in the ENIC out camp who are just on here to bait people and stir up arguments. Fuck those posters.

Ange will be fucking fuming it’s got to this. Another manager who will eventually lose his job because we don’t act like a big club. It would be easier to take if we were actually skint but we can sign who we want but choose not to. All our players we’ve signed are good up and coming players who will be crackers for us but go get top players to get the to top level quicker.

Agreed, lets just stick with a player we paid five million less for, to play in half as many games as Solanke did last season.

Writing players off is all well and good, but I'd like to see naysayers suggesting a better striker coming to a club in the middle of a rebuild, playing in the Europa League.

Perspective needed.

Do recall our first transfer of the window was Timo Werner who plays in the very same position. If the club is stupid enough to think that Werner and Son are good enough whilst focusing on a dedicated striker then be it on their head. Yes, I will happily wave the flag of planet zog and reign as king for speculating on a player potentially being suited for our club - something you literally have to do for every player you ever buy you absolute moron. And as the saying goes, repeating the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. Apparently you lived in the "real world" witnessing the dysfunctionality of our front-line which our own manager has described as our weakest area of the pitch and you're calling for the same again next season. Cool, i'll live on planet zog whilst you dawn a straightjacket.

We have gone back 15 years no way is solanke the best we can get and if so then I ask again what was the point of the new stadium because from where I'm sitting this is sort of signing we would of made 20 years ago

He's been very vocal about the need to improve the attack.

There's no way he will be able to spin it if we don't bring in reinforcements.
 
If we are to chase Englidh targets, you just have to think it would only be players who featured in the Euros.

Just bixarre when we look outside that pool and even some of those would be questionable signings.

It's like we can just unearth a proven PL striker, who holds the ball up well, scores a quarter of their goals inside the six yard box (perfect for those low crosses from Werner of Johnson, Kulu) good in the air, injury free who has played 143 games in fur seasons, and adds assists for his team mates.

All of this for (up to last season) playing for perennial relegation fodder.

Honestly speaking though, why is every one thinking we have to sign Eze? Is he really so concretely link to us? As far as rumours go, I only seem to remember Romano and Gold mentioning he's someone we are keen at, and that's that. Solanke news in the last few days were more resolute than Eze ones have ever been in the last 2 months. I'm just thinking has Eze all along been a fantasy of Spurs fans which Ange totally has no high interest on?
