I'm not spending all day convincing myself that we need Toney when I spent all day yesterday convincing myself that we need Solanke.

It's too much effort.

Who gives a fuck about the money if he comes in and is successful. He could end up a waste of money or be the best signing we’ve made in years. Every transfer is a gamble. People go on about money,it’s not ours.
I’ll be honest and say he’s definitely not one I thought of for us but it actually makes sense. I want Gyokeres or Vlahovic because they make sense too. Even Toney makes sense. We need a focal point up top who won’t get pushed about and can take us up the pitch. All the ones I mentioned can do that. At the moment we have got fast weak players and strong slow players who play in those positions. That’s where our problems lie.
Solanke might just be the fix we are looking for.

We should sack the recent data nerd frauds hired by Levy and bring back realbadman Paratici. We need a deal maker to force transfers thru, not x10 Nathan Asshole Clarks typing messages in Slack in Python language about xG

I’d prefer Solanke to Toney but either is fine. Need them in asap.

Might be trying to bluff Bournemouth but as they don’t want to sell anyway I don’t know how effective a bluffing tool that would be?

Im fairly certain Solanke is the fallback in case we can’t get Oshimen (our first choice) out of Napoli before the middle of next week

NB - I’ve been drinking for 48 hours as well as smashing thru edibles, crack cocaine and poppers
