How Dry should our Powder be?

We'll have 2 league games before the window shuts, and one the day after. Basically 3 games by the time the window is closed and the dust settles.

Leaving our key business this late is criminally negligent.
That’s not too bad to be fair, in prior years I’m sure there’s been five games prior to the bald cunt removing his hands from ass and picking up the phone

I'm still confident we will make two, perhaps three, decent signings before the window closes. Nevertheless, and much to my discomfort, I find myself in agreement with a number posters here with whom I vehemently disagree on just about everything to do with our club.

It is far too deep into the window to be making key signings. I don't know why it is taking so long, even allowing for a quiet market. Bedding in new players takes time, and at this rate we'll be a few weeks into the season before we reap the rewards of any new players. Very disappointing!

We could play 60 games this season. It’s us though isn’t it. What’s more likely from us. Three upgrades to the first team for big money or more players at lower fees spread throughout the squad? I agree with you, but we just don’t do that. I think we need another quick player on the left. If VDV and Udogie are out again at the same time, which on evidence is more than likely, then we are leaden footed on that side. VDV is our most important defender but unfortunately his hamstrings are made of cheese so he can’t play every game. We need another pacey defender there.

Well... I went to see VDV injury history and damn. Indeed he has had hammy injury in 2022, 2023 and 2024...

So maybe conclusion is that we fucked up with Dragusin purchase ? And our first substitute CB should have been someone able to cover the pitch with pace instead? Looking at the full picture, I kind of doubt we will buy another top level CB now, if even Radu almost did not play in 2nd half of the season...

The same way we managed to for Liverpool's hand when we went for Diaz but this was described as haggling for days for him where as Liverpool wrapped the deal up quick with no hassle, now the narrative has completely spun around.

Different rules though
Quick question Shady, are you happy the manager has been backed with the business we have done so far? Or would you like to see more signings before the window closes?

What would you consider to be a good window specifically at this point?

Who was the journalist who says Richy changed his mind and wanted to go?

Wasn't one of the fucking Jacobs' was it?!
