Oh so we can't wait for the right player but Liverpool can, brilliant.

Let's roll out all the excuses and totally ignore the fact they've waited all Summer to make their first signing yet since Spurs are now singing a striker people question the club's ambition and aren't backing the manager

This place man 🤣
Hold on wasn’t he in the Euro final and winning it? Solanke has been holiday in Miami or something like that as we wasn’t deemed good enough for England squad not even stand by.

But Ange said we are still sticking to the plan they had at the start which assume also mean sticking to the targets no?

So Slot used pre season to assess his squad but there's no way Ange could do the same thing when he took the team on tour? Do you not think there's any coincidence that business picked up when we got back to London, just like last season? Do you not see the flaw in your argument?

If this was Ange's first season and we hadn't signed anyone until now you would have been apoplectic with rage and anyone rightly would but your energy switches when it comes to anyone but your own club, you have a massive blind spot.
But we bought a few players already like MADDs and Vic. Think it was only VDV and Johnson that came late. Destiny and Sarr were already at the club.

West Ham signing Todibo now as well, on top of Kilman, Summerville and Fullkrug. Takes them to a spend of around £110m net. Some decent signings in there.
Massively closed the gap on us this summer and with us having Europe and them not they could be on for one of their 1 in 10 years they finish above us.

No Euro footy, no mega sales, yet they have gone out and spent.

We’re still holding our dicks waiting for £15m to come in for Emerson Royal.

Honestly it’s pathetic - yes we will make signings, but why is it always at the end of the fucking window, what exactly have we been doing in the meantime

I will guess that, as usual, the team that wins the transfer window struggles.

Not a single one of their signings gets in our starting eleven. Though they have improved on a squad that was bang average to start with. So fair play to them.

Looking at their fixtures, could quite easily lose their first three league games too.

But this happens every summer. Some random small team gets sucked off for making signings.

Comparing their squad to ours is pointless. As you say they have improved their squad and shown ambition both in terms of money spent and profile of player targeted (Todibo is hot property and was touted for Juve/Barca).

No one knows how the signings will adapt but at least the intent is there from the ownership to improve the football team. That's all that fans want to see each year.

Areola
Coufal - Todibo - Kilman - Emerson
Ward-Prowse - Paqueta
Bowen - Kudus - Sommerville
Fulkrug
Not a bad side at all.

Sorry, my friend, but that’s patently untrue.
Fans — even West Ham fans (and I have now acquired a whole host of them via a marriage and am occasionally forced into cohabitation with them) — want to see their team win trophies.

Fortunately, they are cousins by marriage and a whole ocean or two away.
