Philogene as well.
Need more than Gray, Eze and Solanke to show you're serious about challenging/winning.
Somehow I don't see City, Woolwich, Pool, Chavs, United, Barcodes and Villa lose any sleep over our business to date.
He plays with blinkers on.
We should either look at Bakayoko, or a short term option of Coman or Rafinha and then revisit it next summer.
Not sure if he has the high end athleticism that an elite prem winger needs.
Top, when we win the bloody thing this seasonSo where would werner solanke and JOhnson rank for pace in a premier league front 3?

Not to mention that we've had a nasty habit of players becoming crocked after they've signed for us. I hope the overhaul of the medical team might see that change, but I'd never ever bet on someone with Neto's injury record suddenly becoming fit and consistently available for us.Losing out on Neto is a blessing in disguise. A couple stats:
Minutes played the last two seasons:
Bentancur: 2505
Richarlison: 2501
Neto: 2480
And I think that’s actually unfair to Richy and Bentancur (who are extremely injury prone) because Neto is the first name on the teamsheet at Wolves and Richy played behind Kane for a year and Lolo has had competition in the midfield.
More stats:
Neto’s 5 seasons at Wolves he’s played 6435 minutes. In Solanke’s two seasons since Bournemouth came back to the prem he’s played 6185 minutes. In Solanke’s last five seasons he’s played 15,356 minutes compared to Neto’s 6435 minutes.
Obviously you’ve gotta do more than just play, but health/fitness is 100% a skill.
You're probably right. Although everything points to us definitely being able to afford him. Wether or not the desire is there is a completely different matter of course.I think after spending big on Solanke I just can’t see it, we never make two huge marquee signings in one window to my knowledge.
How much would Eze cost? At least another £60 million, can’t see that happening. I would be shocked to be honest if it did.

And I wouldn't call Solanke a marquee signing either. A bread and butter signing to fill a gaping hole left by selling Kane a year ago.. Or much needed competition for Richarlison depending on your POV,....but Marquee signing?...nah, I ain't having that.
These levy deals of, lowball with players thrown in are a waste of time.
Either offer the money or, don't bother entering negotiations if , you are not prepared to match the conditions.
