He really doesn’t. We need a winger that can take on a man as well as run into space and cross it. Again today it broke down too many times in that situation. I’d take Chiesa because he can play both sides and through the middle.
I don't think so. Doue is going Bayern or PSG.
I still think if a decent bid comes in for Spence he’s gone and replaced by kwp in the squad.

I don't think a couple of rough moments defensively in pre-season is enough to derail the Spence comeback though. Still think there would be minutes for him in all comps this season.

He did look ok but I think he’s a bit raw to play RB in the PL. He needs bedding in.
Re Spence, that’s the exact kind of scenario that will put his “is he a good lad” mentality to the test. I am not sure Ange will want to risk him becoming a bad egg.
I think Spence was only playing LB for
A) fitness and minutes
B) to see if he can play there
I think he's fine at right back tbh. Playing the opposite flank as a full back, especially inverted is always going to be a horrible experience.
It was nice to see Gray play there today though. Some loose passes but he looked much more comfortable than he did in midfield.
