Some sort of deal that see Reguilon and Lo Celso head to Barca and Raphinha come to us would make a lot of sense . . .

But as it’s been stated on here already, getting Raphinha to leave to come to us kicking and screaming isn’t really the ‘Ange way’ - they’ve almost got to sell themselves to us rather than the other way round . .

I don't think Ange would want Raphinha, he only want's people who want to be here, I feel Raph would see tottenham as punishment for not succeeding at his dream club

And why is that? They have spent over a billion!
They get around it by signing these players to loooong contracts and spreading the cost over a number of years. The problem is they are stuck with players that are on high wages and not performing ala Mudryk.
They have a fair amount of highly paid deadwood, and if players don’t improve no one wants to buy them.
Then they are forced to sell homegrown talent like Gallagher. Love or hate ENIC/Levi they run things better than Chelsea since Boehly took over.
Yet they will, unequivocally win something before we do. Bookmark this if you like.

They'll find a way to shift their deadwood when they really want. They'll buy a club under a shell company or something, and use their own money to buy their own players.
It's as bent as a 9 bob note, but they will do it.

Why though? We don’t have Eze yet and it’s not like we’d need to see what Son looks like as a RW.

I can't remember ever seeing Son play RW for us tbh.

Not saying he hasn't. Just nothing springs to the top of my head when I hear Son and right wing for Spurs.

So I don't see a scenario where Son moves to the opposite side to accommodate.

I don't think we sign Eze regardless, but if we do will be interesting to see what we've got planned.
