Still I'm not saying we should sell him but Ange needs to have a quiet word with him and explain that this isn't the kind of thing he should be doing, and then ask him why he felt the need to film himself doing it and upload it to social media! I get players have lives as well and they need to relax but they also need to realise there are kids out there who will copy everything they do as they see them as idols and its their responsibility to set a good example.

I can hear this as a pretty balanced take.

If he’d had a beer in his hand I doubt we’d have seen half the crazy hot takes that have been firing off about selling him or not picking him for Leicester.

Pep is elite and he won't have players playing for him who aren't in elite condition.
It's 2024, not Arse 1994 Tuesday club. There's no space in the game anymore at the top for players who abuse their bodies.
And, given the wages and fees, that's absolutely the right thing to do. It's Why Ronaldo is still (just) playing, and Rooney looks ready to have a heart attack and die whilst managing Plymouth.
