Oxford have 4 centre forwards

25 years old, their number 9 valued at 700.000

Dane valued at 1.8m. He's going to play
What on earth are you talking about?? Who values these players and how does that make a player better. I don’t know who the Oxford player who’s 25 is but if he’s played a lot football in his career so far I’m pretty sure he’ll offer more than Scarlett.
I watched them on Saturday and they were actually very good. He doesn’t go there and walk into that team. Let’s be honest,he’s not good enough and he has to go and find his level.

Football supporters always want new players. The entire BS transfer clickbait industry is built on this.
Johnson is 23 just finished his first season with a new club under a manager that was new to the club and the league. It's not going to be shocking when he improves this season.
You could say the same about VDV, destiny, Sarr and a few others. Why is the same BS always tripped out for Johnson. Who let’s remember has Pl and English football experience already compared to the aforementioned. I find it shocking the lengths some go to defend his signing.

When you talk about “waiting for the right player” I think this is more akin to what that should mean in reality. Liverpool haven’t signed anyone yet this season but if they get this over the line it’s a signing that instantly improves their already excellent starting 11.

A quality ball playing 6/DM who, sadly, is exactly what we need in midfield. It’s such a shame we didn’t make any attempt to get him.

If you have played sport for a club at a high level or any level you will know that good club players are an essential fabric of the club. They teach the youngsters what you cannot learn by yourself and they inspire loyalty and love to the club. You cannot buy these people they are nurtured, grown. Look at King, Ardiles and others. Davies states he wants to coach and manage in the future, as long as he is considered good enough for the first team squad then its a no brainer isn't it?
Fine, keep believing players like Davies will get us where we want to be. This is the mentality we need to banish. I doubt he’d get into any top 6 squad.

What if we've just decided Moore is ready to be our right winger and therefore focusing on other players.

And current club offered him lower terms to stay than Liverpool offered him to join them !

Quite a slap in the face for Liverpool - just doesn't want to move

My new favorite player. Do what you feel in your heart life's too short to care about other people's perceptions. I think Harry Kane should have done exactly this. He is no less a player for having won no trophies. "If he'd said, "from the moment I got here all I ever wanted was to play for Spurs and I cherish my league cup and champions league runners up medals more than anything I'd win elsewhere " The fans would have built his statue there and then. If Zubamendi is where he wants to play football....he has done right thing.

The horrible inevitably of players force to seek moves to Bayern as opposed to staying at Frankfurt or Spurs is empty headed nonsense. Good on Zubamendi. In fact I'm doubling down, I think Gray should have been able to give Leeds another full season minimum .

Rejecting Woolwich and Liverpool in one window?

I agree that he may just be my new favourite player. 😂

He used to be very good, especially at Sassuolo, where he ran the show. Done okay at Juve but really hasn't moved mountains and gone of the boil them past few months. Not making the Italy squad more than 30 odd times when the Squadra Azzura has been underwhelming for years (despite that fluke 2020 win), that tells its own story.

Feels like another poor man's Pirlo but then again, not an easy feat to fill those shoes. Personally, I think he'd struggle in the PL. Don't have the physicality nor the pace. But perhaps his quick brains and vision would save him? Just hope he gets back to his best if he stays in Serie A cause he's a smooth operator when on song. Seen some interviews and sounds a nice, humble lad too.

fogueres fogueres cosa ne pensi, fratello?
Locatelli definitely arrived at the wrong time. Given that Pirlo was one man for a while, Juventus encountered problems with the midfield, the department that had been the strong point. He is a good player but certainly to date he has not performed as the club expected. 🙂
