We need LB cover more than RB. Who is evaluating our squad?
Send back timoDon't get how people want to buy extra backups like for LB when we already are near the limit/slightly over it in terms of players we can register for Europa. There won't be new signing in defence unless we get rid of Spence, Davies or someone we don't expect to leave (like Deki or Bentancur). Only exception to that is to sign KWP which i don't feel fits there. We have to be left slightly short in some areas because of lack of club trained guys.
Look how that turned out last season think he got a yellow in one game after coming on. He is not athletic enough. I’d rather just play Spence there and tell him to stay wide. Also he is much better in a high line as he has the pace to recover. He could if we develop him turn into a walker. He defo has better technical ball skills and can beat a man easily. If we still don't have a LB rotation after the window, Ange will play Skipp there..

I guess some would need loans as per Dane Scarlett. What about any of the academy players, think some of them did have some game time in preseason. Might be a novel
Idea but how about developing them rather than them be discarded in a couple of years and we buy some over priced average player.
Hasn’t MADDs played in the right for Leicester before?Much needed competition for maddison who can also play wide if need be .
But above all else he's a quality attacking player
They do but this constant narrative of players needing loans and then we go out and spend money on a squad player who is not much better is annoying. Say for example we didn’t get timo on loan and just developed donley for that left side. I’d much rather see that than him go on loan. Why do always have to send them on loan. If they are good enough keep them abd develop them in house with the first team squad. Other teams have faith in their youngsters about time we did. Referring to our academy players not ones purchased like gray and berg.
For a change we are alignedI agree with you on this.
As far as squad goes, I think we 100% need a RW and a LB (and Eze).
Again going by stats. If that is the case go analyse those goals and assists. How match winners, v which trans, were we being thrashed already like dippers game, etc.Takes one to know one.
If it makes you upset when others disagree maybe TFC is not for you?
And if you think 15 G/As in a season is not good maybe take up another sport that is easier to understand?
It's a way of introducing them to first team football, I guess it could ruin players if they go straight into our first team from the youth set up. It's also a way of finding out of they can hack it.They do but this constant narrative of players needing loans and then we go out and spend money on a squad player who is not much better is annoying. Didn’t he start v Fulham in the caraboa last season. He cannot play in a he’s system of a high line either as a LB or LCB.Europe and the domestic cups is probably where Davies will get most of his playing time, as a rotation player
he'll get a lot of mins in the cups, esp EuropaI mean...you keep on saying that, but we're not going to. There is zero chance the club are gonna look on here, and say 'Oh Maureen's said over and over that we should get rid of Timo so let's do it"
You've made your point by now. I'm sure you've got plenty of other things up your sleeve you'd like to talk about.
For the record and before you bloody start...no, I don't think we should make Werner a permanent signing, but he's here...hopefully he'll make some kind of contribution.
What were his bigger priorities as he never elaborated. Nothing in pre season has shown any tweaks or change in either style or approach.Ange didn’t really say he was refusing to work on set pieces, he said he had bigger priorities at the time last year.
If he’s asked this year and he says it’s still not a priority then that’s alarm bells for me.

Not sure how true this is but could give us an opportunity to sign raphinha
With no real links to anyone in particular, it looks like the club are, still waiting on some movement with Eze.
Levy is gambling on palace folding, going into the final week. If not then, a scramble to get someone in last minute will take place.
