Levy In or Levy Out

Unless you know who the new owners are and their business model and intentions these polls aren’t much value. The 42% are all assuming a new owner will be better than ENIC.

Trust me, that is very far from certain.
Likewise, the 58% are all assuming a new owner will be worse 😅

To be fair though, I would say the 58 - 42 split is fairly reflective of the current split on here, so I wouldn't argue with it. Bit of an Okey Cokey thing really though. If that poll was conducted in April 2023 during the end of season fiasco the results would have been wildly different.

Did Sky conduct a similar poll for the rest of the PL clubs? Be interesting to see the results if they did. Like a league table of the most popular/unpopular owners, so to speak.

If you are truly Levy out you can’t be anything other than Ange in.

If Levy can keep shifting blame onto managers he will never really be held to account on delivering what he charges the fans.

He’s about to pull something scandalous this summer and people already turning on the manager instead of looking in the right direction.

The problem you have is one is a hell of a lot easier to get rid of than the other. You could easily say the same about Lange as well, like other DoF he'll get a load of crap (starting to see it already) but its an almost impossible job.

Everything is make do and mend. Yes we spend money but overpaying on middling prem players because we dont have the intention to go for the best is pissing most of it away.

Anyone can see the underlying issue unless you're totally on a wind up or acting the edge lord. How many DoF and managers do we need to plough through? Its why i've always felt we need a manager who can get the team playing above the sum of its parts or someone who is in the right place at the right time. May or may not be Ange but i'm not hopeful for him after the window to date i'm afraid.

Although I respect you highly and enjoy reading many of your sensible posts...this isn't one of them I'm afraid.

Levy has employed some great managers, but hasn't adequately backed any of them and has been rightly called out for it. When he employs a suspected dud, he needs calling out for that also.

My issue with this appointment was that it dragged expectations of the fanbase so low that qualifying for the formerly much derided Europa League and early exits from both domestic cups was hailed as some kind of success. A perfect scenario for loser at the top.

None of our other recent appointments would have been given such an easy ride, and neither would they have expected to.

Suspected dud? Or an excuse to take a dig at levy because you’d never heard of him?

He finished 3 places higher than Conte.

I don't understand your logic at all here.
Ange is a Levy hire. By all accounts, some one to tow the company line as well.

If Levy and ENIC went, I wouldn't be surprised to see a new owner bring their own man in pretty quickly.
