Exactly which is why this is a daft signing as we have just blocked Mickey moores pathway for a position we were already well stocked in. Unless we sell richy and Sonny is used as a striker against teams that play a high line (big dom against low blocks)
Sonny is 32 and heavily reliant on his pace. He will need replacing as a starting XI day-in, day-out winger sooner than we think.

I definitely think a Son succession plan is a necessity, maybe even as early as next season.

The plan should have started this year...... May well have done, I guess.

Young enough to be association trained with the 1 year at Burnley. Helps with HG rules in future.

Don't know much about him. My mate says he's really raw, but lots of pace and potential. Can play off both wings and is quite tall for winger (over 6ft). Seems quite a steep fee!

Stepped away from posting in here for a couple of weeks after the atmosphere became unpleasant to put it mildly . However I needed my fix of Spurs talk so have been lurking on the appropriate pages . Then suddenly this

Was never going to be able to hold out much longer anyway

Reminder that we *could* play up to 69 games this season.

There's plenty of game time to go around, especially with five subs.

Have to keep Sonny fresh this season. So important to have him sharp for the big matches.

Odobert, Moore and Werner fight it out for sub/Cup appearances. Still think Moore will get every opportunity but Werner may get the nod based on opponents

Anyone with a brain stem would see that.

Werner is the place holder for Moore. Odobert doesn't block anyone's path. And if he does, perhaps Moore isn't the prodigy we think he is

Moore will get, hopefully, 700+ minutes this season. Doubt he'll even make the bench for half the Prem games or start a single one.

Must admit; loaning Werner does seem a bit of a waste now.......

We'll be absolutely stacked with wingers come Jan and the arrival of the lad from SKorea......

Rather play them.

I was convinced that this was a made-up name, but apparently there are videos of this guy playing and everything! Maybe the professionals who do this for a living know more than those of us with other jobs who just like posting on the internet. Who knew?
