Well you should care because it's money we're spending on a player who we don't need and money that could be used for another player we will need and also quality players don't always fit in, there's numerous examples of clubs buying good players and trying to squeeze them into positions and not succeeding.

And as for this Son/Solanke partnership with Eze in behind, we don't play that way...🤦‍♀️

If we sign another CM, keeping Devine would be putting the players development on the back burner because he still needs minutes.

The question in the future then becomes where do we fit the likes of Devine and Donley in it our CM is complete and stacked with players Ange likes but that’s football and these kids need to prove they are better.

Devine will be on UEFA List B for this season and 2025/26 if he's not loaned out but what list he's on doesn't make any difference to the squad if they think he can be used. It's just a case of whether they think he'll get enough game time to be worth keeping around rather than sending out.

I said it’s an option if we want to change it. I know we don’t play that way ffs. Anyways didn’t Ange go to 3 at the back in some games last season.

Wolves don't want rid, he doesn't want to leave and would likely cost 60m+and I don't see us spending that much on him.

We wouldn't even go to 40m+ on Gallagher and his club quite literally wanted rid of him.

I think that's exactly what we'll do, with our talented younger players getting plenty of playing time.

TBH, I actually think that we'll make a better fist of the Europa League with them, than we would with the senior players, if preseason is anything to go by.
 
Lo Celeo to Atalanta sounds doable (Ederson)
Lo Celso to Wolves not so much (Gomes)
Lo Celso to Forest doesn't seem likely (Gibbs-White)
Lo Celso to Celtic isn't happening (O'Riley)

that's if Lo Celso is a paperweight, erm I mean makeweight, makeweight!
