Have a feeling that Sterling will end up at Woolwich.

Sancho will end up on loan somewhere. Nobody is going to stump up those wages for such an average player.

Chillwell will have to take a paycut, but could be a good transfer if he can be signed for peanuts.

Okay no quotes from you to backup your opinion, cool

If you wanna live in a delusional world of pink fluffy bunnies and rainbows and think that the club are still looking for forwards and mids then that's nothing to do with me, I'm just here to remind you to set your expectation like you should always do with this club, anyway you carry on mate 😆

Furthermore you can't use a quote that said "energetic midfielder" that came from a journo and at the same time tell me to stop hanging on the lifeboat of journo quotes, you're contradicting yourself you nutcase lmao

What quote? Random tweet by journo. Not a sentence from Ange.

You try to look like you have anything to stand on because you admire that quote. Yet I just brought very recent and factual example how those things you attach to so manically are not reliable.

Not a single journo had idea about Odobert signing. It is undeniable. And serves as very solid proof of how trustworthy the floor under your legs is.

For me, it all hinges on whether Ange can get a decent run of form together with the players we've got. The 4-0 against Everton is a good start but at the moment it's still not clear whether that is down to us or how bad Everton are. Newcastle is a much stronger test.

I'm not going to slate Johnson or Werner - they've got the season to show what they can do. There is more to be gained from getting behind the players at this stage rather than moaning that they're not good enough.

No transfer window can ever be properly assessed until we've seen what the players do on the pitch. At this stage, I'll assume that Ange is completely on board with the players we've brought in and that our recruitment team knew what they were doing when they signed the players. That's their job.
It will hinge on how motivated and focused he can keep everybody!
He has the reputation which is second to none in doing this
Much better value than the pack!
motivational you can do it GIF

How confident are you that Chiesa produces more than Johnson this season?

I’m confident of the opposite. I doubt Chiesa even starts much more than Werner tbh.
Chiesa is a much, much better footballer than Brennan Johnson.

Now, his injuries or period of adaptation might get in the way, rather like Neto, but he is flat out better.

And there isn’t a football fan of any other team that would choose Johnson over Chiesa.
