I think he's a puffed up twat of the highest order and I can't fucking stand his insecure attitude in general, however, I don't think this would fall under the catagory of moaning at the fans tbh.

Most of the people in the stands wouldn't know how to manage a football team and I don't want our manager listening to them when it comes to substitutions tbh.

And we certainly wouldn't have created the chances we did which up until extra time had us right in it.

When Liverpool went down to 9-men against us, they were defending with 4 recognised CBs, including an elite one in VVD. They still lost. Again, we had Dier and Hojbjerg. We were almost definitely losing that game regardless of approach.

Levy need say nothing because if we suddenly win games then it's an irrelevance.

Our resources should not need to scrape a win against Coventry, should beat a Leicester, and not concede goals as easily.

Respectfully disagree. Stability is absolutely needed. One season and 5 matches is not enough time to shutdown a rebuild.

There are going to be really rough performances at times. Think dynamo Zagreb. Think colchester. There’s many more.

We actually won the game last night.

Yes they are choosing a deliberate point that makes their argument. It’s called confirmation bias. I wont deny that I also do it sometimes.

We finished 5th last season and we were expected to finish 7th maybe? That’s a fact.

In Pochs first season, he won 4, lost 4 and drew 2 of his first 10.
MW10 was the game we played Villa away, he finally gave Kane a chance and Kane delivered.
After the first 10, w6, L2 D2. Next 10 W6, L3, D1
There was visible improvements in number of results and number of games passed without defeat. Games 8/9 and 34/35 were the only time he lost back to back games.

Compared to Ange, who lost 3 and 4 back to back. 3 was actually 4 of 5 with the 4th being a last second equaliser at City. 4 on the spin was the first time in over 2 decades any Spurs manager lost 4 in a row. That itself was 5 losses in 6, punched by a win against a relegated side.

As I said, I wasn't overly impressed with Poch.
But his results and general improvement as the season went on is nothing like watching Spurs being flushed down an aussie shitter.

We're in freefall here.

I think it's just common sense. You give him more than 4 matches this season. How many? I don't know, but I think 10-12 games in you'd want to see a significant improvement in results.

Some of the things you need to account for right now are new players being bedded in (Solanke being the key one), some encouraging performance metrics from our first 4 games which haven't yet translated to results and just good old general variance - things like being unlucky with our finishing, individual errors defensively (Hi Cuti) etc.

In other words, you're looking for the clarity that only a solid block of games can bring. I'm not taking about last season, because that's done, we finished 5th. Rather, what are the improvements this season and when do they translate to results? And like I said, you'd want to be seeing that happen within the next 5,6,7 games, otherwise the season is in serious danger of being gone.
 
The main problem I have with Ange is that we are utterly predictable. Yes, we keep the ball, which is great, but there is zero creativity in how we try to generate goals. Our set pieces on defense are consistently poor in the same way over and over again.

It’s almost like he thinks there is only one way of getting things done and he just wants the players to do that one thing every time but just do it better to get results.

At this level tactics and adjustments matter.

spot on.. there needs to be more variation - atm the team is too predictable - its the same rinse and repeat no matter who the opposition. No wonder we struggle to score.

Someone posted a pep quote yesterday about how it’s his job to get the ball to the final 3rd and the players job in the final 3rd.

Don’t know how legit that is but we all our unhappy with our forwards.

That doesn’t fully excuse Ange. He needs to find a solution relatively soon. If he chose these forwards - particularly Werner - that’s concerning. However Werner absolutely smells like a levy bargain deal but ange clearly didn’t reject it. And Werner was ok at times last season. Yesterday was something else.

It is beyond any reasonable doubt that his tactics are problematic

Our squad isn’t great, but it’s a top 5 (just) squad with a good coach. It’s better than the squad last year and the year before
 
I actually still want to him to change and succeed.

Really disappointed by his post match presser tho. The idea it s understandable we are shite as we are vs Coventry? Really?
