If we’d had our shooting boots on today we could have scored 10 goals, overall good performance but with plenty of room to improve.

Man Utd will have to show some aggression against us next week as the home side. And we're showing that we can exploit that space quite well when it's there. A good chance to really ignite the season next week.
I've criticised the manager and I don't think it's been beyond justification.. But I'm still desperate for him to be a success because when we do win and play well with this kind of football, it feels fucking incredible..

Good result, very decent first 30 minutes apart from their goal, Maddison excellent, Vicario a bag of nerves but some good saves. Still feels a bit chaotic at times. Next couple of weeks against top half sides will tell us a fair bit in terms of any potential improvement.
Oh I'm sure there's a few who are quite annoyed by that result and the resulting positivity among the fanbase

Ange got things right today. Apart from goal brentford only created really from vicario fuck ups. Redeemed somewhat with save. Defence and midfield did well. Esp bent then biss. Johnson poor got the goal, solanke did well, son poor generally but 2 good assists. Sounds weird.
Our main problem is killer instinct. Too many wrong decisions in around the oppo goal. We need to bury teams. Against bigger teams we wont get as many chances to score. Need to take them when we get them which we havent as much as we should.
