Carrier Bag first.Great bounce back game. Onto Man U now, lets hopefully get a lil win streak going
Yes, it’s good to get a win and I wasn’t overly confident beforehand today that we would get 3 points.Nice to win but this is the footballing equivalent of treading water. Let's beat someone semi decent before we start showering praise on a very disappointing team.
I'm aware this might trigger the ENIC enablers.
He did. That's not a Red. Commentator's are idiots, don't know the rules. He didn't stop a goal scoring opportunityI was driving listening so I didn't see. Did Vicario actually touch the ball outside the area? Commentators were convinced he did and were positive VAR would review and he'd get a red.
Even if he did though, VAR can't review that if it's missed on the field correct?
A rape whistle?
Henceforth shall he be known!
To be fair Mbuemo did a Zidane-esque volley without the zizou. It was definitely better in some aspects today, but Vicario needs sorting out.
Keeping a clean sheet would be an achievement, would like to see us beat one of our so called top.six rivals.
Just scroll down the missing posters from tonight’s thread and that’ll give you your answerOk, Come on......how many of you are actually fuming with that result?

I never said the lack of clean sheet was down to him mate, all I said was that, he needs to sort himself out and a clean sheet would be nice.To be fair Mbuemo did a Zidane-esque volley without the zizou.
But Vicario made some top saves even if he did nearly gift them a goal.
It's mad but not getting a clean sheet had nothing to do with Vicario performance
My bad mate, I can't disagree with thatI never said the lack of clean sheet was down to him mate, all I said was that, he needs to sort himself out and a clean sheet would be nice.
The defending worried me today, it's quite scary how badly we defend, could be very detrimental to our season if this isn't improved.Just got back, just seen goals on replay.
Observations....
1) we won the game with less possession than the opposition
2) we scored all 3 after winning the ball and getting into the scoring position quickly with minimal passes
3) we worked hard to win the ball back and have chances quickly rather than ponderously passing it about for 50-60 passes on the whole
4) our defending scared me
5) despite mostly dominating, Brentford could have got something out of the game until the very end
6) I don't understand how our defending is so comical
7) heard most areas sing Johnson off the pitch..... and some idiots behind me twisting the words to moan about him being weak
8) all round improvements, well done team.
