Just did a re-Watch. Solanke was actually great in this game and his football IQ and pressing has me impressed. I wasn’t sure about him but had an open mind coming into the season, but he was constantly in the right spot for a striker. Had a couple somewhat unlucky deflections or he might have bagged another.

He was also in perfect position for a cross on Brennan’s goal (amazing strike, but a perfect cross would have been a goal as well with Solanke’s positioning).

I’m cautiously optimistic that he’s going to be worth the money.
Thought Solanke did a great job holding up play and trying to link play with the other forwards.

Very well is a bit of a stretch but we played against probably the best defense in football who stuck everyone behind the ball. Our build up play was good but we weren't great in the final 3rd. Definitely didn't deserve to lose the game though.
We definitely DID deserve to lose the game, because we didn't test their goalie and we didn't defend that corner properly. Unforgiveable to lose at home to that scum.

Thomas Frank on the Vicario hand ball

"Not only looked, he had handled it outside the box, but that incident did not define the game," said Brentford manager Thomas Frank.

"It was a mistake. It could have been a free-kick to us. It could have helped us. But, hey, you never know.

Fair enough, no issues with that. respect to him, good bloke, good coach.

.......Imagine Jose, Klopp or LegoCunt.

Watch Maddison's body langauge after he grabs his shirt. Obviously Milesy loves his Spurs but he's just a bit thirsty to be everyone's mate. Not really a big deal like it was made out but also wouldn't be surprised if he's the type to leak stuff to media mates as well. That's a baseless accusation and I never met the man but whatever, it's a chat forum and I'm chatting shit.

Good Itw from Maddison, said some things I'd hope some remember in the future.

I just can't quite fathom where he sprang from.... Up pops Spursplay and with it some guy going by a pub nickname that were expected to buy as some loved club-rooted personality ("Good ol' Milesy" yadda)......

Paul Coyte he is not.

He annoys the tits off me tbh..... Just all a bit too over chummy.

Great game! Just got home with a celebratory bottle of vino. It could have been 8-1, couldn't it?

Cheers lads!

Could also easily have been 6-6 tbh
Matt1882 what you saying?

Quite enjoyed his post match interview. Quite refreshing he didn't resort to BS and accusations. Maybe he knows his team got a lot of free kicks they didn't deserve and possibly got away with a penalty? (Haven't seen the latter on a replay yet)
Ange is tactically stubborn. That can't be true.
It could be true if the players just thought "fuck it, let's just win the game, better to ask forgiveness than permission"

So we won a game because the players went against the managers instructions. LOL, mate.

He annoys the tits off Ange too, but he doesn’t hide his disdain for him, which is hilarious to watch 😂

Good result but this was more about how 💩 Brentford were than us being good
Brentford were fine you stool, they gave us a really good game. Which we won, comfortably in the end. It was great football, all I've ever asked. Spurs playing really well against an opponent that also took the game to us.

In Spanish we call that a digno opponent - "worthy, honourable". I thought Brentford were great, gave us a fine game, came off second best . Because we were really good. Why should that be so hard to admit?
