In most cases at least, I don't mind us selling players for huge profits IF they want to go.
And to be fair to ENIC most/all the big transfer outs have been of players who wanted to leave or so we have been led to believe. Some arguments about this re Carrick, VDV, etc.
However, WHY do all our 'galacticos' want to leave. Basically we haven't got the moolah to realistically compete for the 'Big 2' prizes (and pay top dollar as well, natch)

I believe he always had an affinity for Hamburg, and I think he even said while he was at Spurs that he would eventually like to end his career there. He can't just pick and choose where he wants to go, and he may not even want to leave Hamburg.
