Mate, how can you say you don't give a fuck about being bantered by your mates and those that do need "serious help" but you do care about what randoms say online and whether they're laughing at us?
 
I would have liked our captain and our manager to talk about us wanting to win the competition and not about how unfair the workload is for a player during the press conference of our first European game for a while.

I actually agree with that.

What is important is to turn that possession, more importantly the high end turn overs, into goals.

Do that, and all of the low block merchants will be forced to re-evaluate.

We've had our opportunities against the low blocks. As Richard has already said, we just haven't capitalised on them for the most part, especially early in games.

Get that right and the game opens up more for us.

Imagine feeding off these aggregators though!!! I don’t understand any fan that runs with what they say, ESPECIALLY the accounts that also spit out opinions.

Stick with one account (they all send exactly the same news anyway, why do you want to know it x8 times?!!?) and avoid like the plague the accounts that put their opinion over. I’ve even blocked and muted some because I think that are that bad.

The only reason Newcastle, Villa etc don’t cop it is because nobody cares about them. They aren’t traditional top 6, their fanbases are comparatively small and they spent ages in the wilderness.

We get it for being the upstart who thinks they’re in the big 6 but haven’t won anything to put down a marker. Put on your big boy pants and deal with that rather than doing Levy’s propaganda work for him.

did you watch it?? they were going on and on and on. It didn't require that type of prolonged answer. Say a few things and keep it moving (like some of the other people that have commented on it). Make the competition your main focus....the press conference made the competition seem secondary and tbh it gave off the impression that playing in it was some sort of unwanted chore.

I’ll watch it. I’ve only seen the quotes and Son definitely spoke about wanting to win it.

I'd like to state that I feel xG is misused and misunderstood...by both sides. But I do feel your take is a little strong and similar takes often derive from that misunderstanding.

I literally just looked at skysports and BBC sports just now to make sure I wasn't going mad.

Skysports main SPORTS headline is "Son criticises fixture demands: we're not robots."

BBC say "Scedule reaching dangerous levels- Postecoglu"


It gives off a bad impression when you have a fanbase starving for silverware. How many random interviews do they do? couldnt they have just mentioned it there (if they had to) but now the focus is away from the competition/game. Let players/managers of clubs that have actually fucking won something complain and keep it at how serious you're taking the competition for us success starved fanbase.

Seriously though. How can you expect any one to believe that unless you live in a fucking cave or something.

There ain't a week that passes by without me getting texts and nemes from mates and acquaintances who support our rivals. The banter is all one way, it's relentless and worst of all, ...and its justified.....that's the fucking problem.
I have absolutely nothing to throw back..

Spread sheet values, New hotels, and Green initiative awards don't quite hit the mark, I've found.
