Loved him as a player, but he’s a fucking babbling twat as a pundit.
In Aus our coverage (on Stan) had a fairly generic commentator who seemed to have no particular agenda, called the game as he saw it, and was on his own ie no pundit "support".
Was quite refreshing.
I had to switch to a beIN arabic stream - which I can't usually bear - for an ear cleanse.
My fav spurs player ever.

I absolutely make you right. I'd give the insight and opinions of a straight up, bona-fide club legend like God a little more value than a few geezers typing away on The Fighting Cock.

I don't really watch much football on TNT, so I can't really comment on any of Glenn's former Spurs commentaries, but I must admit that I found his reaction to the disallowed Ferencvaros goal a bit too negative, and he also made his frustration at how easily they were attacking us from the wings, abundantly clear(which was warranted IMO). Maybe GH shouldn't do Spurs games on TNT, as we can be a very difficult watch sometimes, and Glenn's love and passion for THFC is surely undoubtable.

Hoddle is often on the world coverage for our games in a punditry capacity and he digs out Ange every time. I remember after the infamous Chelsea home game last year he smashed him, keeping in mind that was his first loss, and completely overlooked how close we were to equalising with 9 men - and the fact that our whole stadium gave us a standing ovation after we went 3-1 down. Clearly holds some sort of bitterness or there’s been some interaction, always thought he seemed to have a good relationship with Poch so maybe he was annoyed we didn’t get him and went for Ange instead? Seems bizarre to me
Hardly any pundit knows how good our defensive record is this season.
They go on about how open we are and how many chances we give away as if we're shipping eight goals a game.
Hoddle can say what he likes, he has more than earnt the right. As much as there are negative posters on here there are also some who suffer with toxic positivity, they can't handle anybody who doesn't think we are as good as they believe us to be.
That's a fair and balanced post.
I accept my role as sometimes coming across as a bit too negative. I'll hold my hands up to it. But there are definitely posters who swing far too heavily the other way.
It is, after all, a forum. Not an appreciation society.
