After Oct. of last season we were 12-4-12. We got hammered by Fulham and Newcastle. We lost 4 in the league in a row for the first time in ages. The only teams we beat after March 10 were the teams that finished 17, 18, 19, and 20.

It was fucking dreadful.
Good that the season starts in August then, arbitrarily cutting out the parts of the season where we did well to focus on when we struggled is strange behaviour. Saying last season was our worst season is ages is simply wrong.

he is a young boy and to me looked like a boy V Palace, he is not ready for EPL games maybe ok for some cup games depends on how strong they are,
maybe he will be a good player I don't know but he needs time, come on as sub in games we have in the bag
Totally agree with you.
I was just commenting that I think he plays better on the left.

Solanke is doing his job. The goals will come but don’t try and make out like he’s not been making a difference.

Thanks for popping in!

He isn't doing his job if he's not scoring, sorry but he's the sole striker we have in the side.

His all round play has been good, but I do think some people are overrating it a little bit too much to compensate. I get we are all desperate for Solanke to do well, and he defintely has a positive all around game, but let's be honest, in many games he's been almost anonymous at times. He's shown glimpses of good hold up and link up play, but he's yet to really deliver. We can't have our striker not even getting double digit goals in the PL and at the moment he's miles off.

He's also not even getting a chance to score, let alone scoring.

Anyway I transferred him out of my FPL side so he will probably score today.

probable team today:
TOTTENHAM (4-3-3): Vicario - Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Udogie - Sarr, Maddison, Kulusevski - Johnson, Solanke, Son

Quite frankly, it was miracle we even managed to finish 5th.

Spurs fans were definitely mass murderers in previous lives.
I have a suspicion we might have all been German during WW2.

Liverpool have the miracle of Istanbul.
Leicester have the miracle of winning the league.

We have the miracle of getting 5th place after our second ever best start to a league campaign.

Full on COYS!!

I’m off to make my water into coffee with the help of some (magic) coffee beans!! Miracles never stop around me!!

Only 3 teams have scored more goals than us this season . Eight different players (plus 2 og) have scored our 18 PL goals, with Johnson and Son joint top with 3 goals each.
Leaving aside Solanke's current goalscoring form (he's scored 2 in 7 PL games). I'd much prefer a high scoring team where the goals are spread across several players, rather than the majority being scored by 1 player.

Exactly. In fact, last season was so significantly better than the season that preceded it (under Conte) that you coudl say Ange did an incredible job despite the disappointing second half to the season, especially factoring in the squad overhaul. You also have to fact or in that we lost the spine of our team for a large chunk of the season through injuries and suspension (Romero, VdV, Udogie, Maddison) and others for Asian Cup and ACN (Son, Bissouma, Sarr etc.).

Solanke will get more goals in time I think as they all grow as a team. He has only played a few games, it takes time.

What I love already is his work rate and he is much more skillful, powerful and good at passing than I previously thought. I think he has already become an important player even without scoring lots.

It's lovely the goals are spread out, makes it much harder to stop us completely

Absolutely agree, I don't give a monkey's who scores as long as we get one more than the opposition. And it's not as if Dom is missing a load of sitters, either.

Just got talking to a guy on the platform at Romford station, who was praising me for wearing my colours in Spammers country. What else would I wear on match day? He thought we were away!!
