Why are all of the Telly programs talking about Man Utd when Tottenham - Villa game is up sooner? I was hoping to get into some pre-game build up.

For any of us watching this on Sky today— deep joy.

With all the Utd bollocks of a new manager, the crap that goes with that and Sky’s permanent hard on for Utd, our game will be the real ‘B’ picture feature. I can’t wait for some goal mouth action during our game being interrupted by the picture-in-picture views of Amorim getting on the team bus, arriving at Old Trafford, Amorim waving to the crowd, Utd players arriving covered in headphones etc etc.

I hope there’s some real controversial decision in the second half of our game (in our favour of course) because after the final whistle, they’ll be torn with having to discuss it for all of 10 seconds and having to go straight to Old Trafford to see Amorim scratching his arse or something equally as exciting.

Our starting 11 is looking stronger than Villa's and we're at home so I expect a win from the lads. However, we will struggle with Bailey and Duran when they come on so let's kill this game early. Last year we dominated the home game more but couldn't score. The other game we were also much better but they were still in it until McGinn was sent off.

If you wore a Villa scarf anywhere in the ground except the away fans section, you could be thrown out by security. The same should apply to half and half scarves.

There is nothing between the squads really. They finished above us for a reason.

We probably shade the XI but they have much better attacking depth.

There is no build up when Utd are playing the same day. This game is a terrible inconvenience for Sky.
