Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Why don't they just hand us the FA or league cup now? Given Ange's second season record it's just be a formality by now.

Even so, does a league cup make up for this shit when we'll probably miss UCL again? Under Ange we're becoming a MEME!

With so few points between mid table and the Champions League adds even more weight to replacing Ange with a competent manager as it would mean we would have a fighting chance of achieving a decent league finish and being in with a realistic chance of finishing in a Champions/Europa League place. Continue with this doomed experiment for much longer and we’ll be lucky to have any sort of European football next season = Levy having a meltdown

Porro was supposed to be our genius WING BACK purchase for Conte- but Daniel did not know how to purchase him at the right time he was needed (in the summer).

Now Porro is an offensive right fullback who never had the reputation of being a great defender.

That's on Daniel buying the right player at the wrong time, not backing his manager, and then being stuck with a player now without a real position in the new manager's system, because you were too much of a cunt to properly back your manager at the right time.

Levy is an idiot.

Agree, that's why if he does sack Ange(which I doubt he will during this season) then someone like Potter is the one to get the best out of this squad, especially Porro and Udogie who are best suited to the Potterball wing back systems

If Levy again goes for a 4 at the back coach then he has to give him two new full backs on top of all the other areas that will need strengthening

Are we done yet?

Is there really anyone left fighting his corner for him?

Sack him, don't sack him, I don't give a fuck.

But for fuck sake stop trying to make out like this guy can cut it, because he can't.

Every last thing about today was unacceptable.
I use the phrase unacceptable as that is the word Conte used before he was sacked. And he had a worse squad IMO than this guy.

We should try that Nuno bloke, he seems to be ok...

But seriously I don't even know who we could bring in, especially someone who is available.

Potter looked broken by Chelsea. He might not fancy the media glare of working at a supposed "big" club again, he was happy when there was no pressure on him to do anything other than finish midtable at Brighton.

We've missed the boat on Tuchel.

I suppose Ten Hag is at a loose end.

I understand you and mostly agree. I think Udogie and Porro can be fine fullbacks, but they will need very good coaching to get them to be able to do that. I do like Potter and think he'd be a great cure for our fragile club mentality.

Nuno would publicly reject us if we made an approach for him- it would be so embarrassing- and well deserved for us (Levy) too.

I don't think Iraola will be available until the summer- at least not without an insane payout.

Potter as caretaker would be interesting I think- and we could test out things with him while letting both parties potentially save face in case it doesn't work out.

Porro cannot defend, Sporting rinsed us for 40 mill. Any new manager will have huge problems with Porro in a 4 at the back formation, same with Udogie who only looked decent going forward in a wing back role at Udinese.

VDV had hamstrings issues at his previous clubs

Sporting didn’t rinse us. They sold us a highly sought after ‘wing back’. He’s a wide forward converted into a very good wing back. He isn’t however a natural full back. Likewise with Udogie, he isn’t a natural left back.

100%.

I thought potter has said he won't work with levy.

We are at the point now with this ownership that anyone worth their salt won't want to work with them. We need to get lucky with an up and comer, or we are at the behest of journeymen like Ange.

And that's partly the issue and the fact no manager is blazing a trail.

But Levy won't hesitate if he feels change is necessary.

It’s frustrating as I can’t figure out the level of the players. It’s pretty apparent that Kane has carried the club for 10 years now, shit performances under multiple managers like Jose and Conte only for Kane to save us time after time. We now don’t have Kane.

So it all on our squad and they are up and down all the time. Maybe it’s an AVB situation and Ange is holding them back so when a Pochettino comes in we can bloom or maybe our squad is just average and like all fans we overrate them.

For the record I live up north now and am surrounded by Liverpool, United and even a few City fans. I always take their pulse to try and avoid delusion that comes from being within your own fan group. The general feeling is that we are at best an average squad of players. Other than Son they hardly rate any of our team. Odd comments like Udogie ain’t bad, but that is about it. We might just be shit.

My own view is this is a talented but by very flakey group.
