I think he only got a pass at Fulham because of previous results leading up to the game...
...and the last 5 games were partly brushed aside due to the Top 4 quality of the opposition...

But yes, alarm bells are one thing, but you can put that on the back burner when you win the games you SHOULD be winning (like Palace away and today)
...when you lose THAT ability, there really is nowhere else to hide.

We lost our ability to keep a clean sheet long ago... but now we've lost the fear factor of being able to come back to win from a goal (or 2) down after today!

0-2 down at home to Ipswich at ANY stage of the game is unacceptable.
 
Whenever we play teams like Ipswich who will fight and defend for their lives we seem utterly clueless. The system never changes, all this kamikaze defending and pissing around at the back is costing us points. Ange just doesn't learn. Out of his depth Imo. A change is needed now but, whoever they bring in will have to put up with Levy and they're in lies the problem.

yeh i just watched it cuz saw his name in here and i feel the same as u about the no responsibility thing
but then i though about how i would feel coming in the dressing room seeing my players after a shit performence having a laugh and then going to the owner the owner says its "ok "
 
I've just realised... Yesterday, I bought some Christmas decorations and left them out all day on the table at home ...

Yeah from my point of view we have managed to lose at home regularly to West Ham over the last decade and Villa are not easy. Draw at palace would not have surprised me.
I couldn’t see us losing at home to Ipswich who have struggled all season.

Really tight league is as good as it is bad. Lose to city and draw with Fulham and we could be closer to West Ham in 14th than City in 2nd.
We really don’t want to get sucked towards the bottom 1/4 of the table.
 
Just looking at our run of fixtures. In our next 7 games up to and including Boxing Day, we play 5 of the Top 7 sides in the table. Our other two games are away to Bournemouth - (who’ve beaten both Citeh and Woolwich at home) and away to bottom of the table Southampton.

Complacency most likely. We were able to play well against City at home and Aston Villa but nah the players/manager cba with Ipswich at home.

I’ve mentioned this before. It’s because they have it too easy. They only have to do the bare minimum, have nice lives, get to go to a great training ground and stadium, which have done nothing but breed complacency. We’ve made it all too nice for them.

The players aren’t of a decent standard either and we are just buying more guff every window. I’m not convinced of this new set up. The bloke from fucking Aston Villa and an Aussie from the marketing department of the Asian branch of city group. It’s fucking two bob shite.

From the first second you could tell they wanted it more. Had we got an early goal that might have changed things but they wanted to win more than us.

So it all on our squad and they are up and down all the time. Maybe it’s an AVB situation and Ange is holding them back so when a Pochettino comes in we can bloom or maybe our squad is just average and like all fans we overrate them.

For the record I live up north now and am surrounded by Liverpool, United and even a few City fans. I always take their pulse to try and avoid delusion that comes from being within your own fan group. The general feeling is that we are at best an average squad of players. Other than Son they hardly rate any of our team. Odd comments like Udogie ain’t bad, but that is about it. We might just be shit.

My own view is this is a talented but by very flakey group.

That is spot on. I would say only Son and VDV probably get in any of the other top team sides. They are fucking average.

Combined with top facilities, the players only train (i.e., work) for a few hours a day so it's a pretty easy, cosseted life...however, ALL top clubs surely have brilliant facilities so face this problem too? Seems to me it's more about club culture and mentality.
