Is the fighting cock podcast still unrelentingly Ange in or am I able to listen to it again and what if not, what point will they start to question him?

Literally had Flav on sky sports recently saying there are no spurs fans questioning Ange - that's not the vibe I got into the south stand today.

Must be off crafting their next post-match epistle about 'process over points' Funny how they vanish faster than our defenders under pressure when reality interrupts their utopian Ange sermon. Maybe they're busy drafting a 3,000-word analysis on why today's loss was actually an underrated masterclass in hypothetical dominance.
Yep

Quick to dig up previous posts and hound anyone that dared to make a less than glowing comment at some point during a match

Dissapear without a trace as soon as their bullshit is exposed

He's fuming at missing out on the opportunity to do his post match summary of positivity

9 wins in 15
3 points off top 4
Still in all of the cups
Rivals dropping points

Etc

I have seen a few posts saying something like "only 3 points behind" etc. but they don't mention we are only 1 point ahead of the worst Man Utd team for 30 something years who, you know, sacked their fucking manager.

I almost feel bad for him. Usually pre match he spends time playing up the opponent and playing down expectations as much as he can so he can cover all bases.

He couldn’t do that with Ipswich so he was all ‘West Ham put 4 past these’. The boldest he’s ever been.

We suck mate. It’s honestly baffling that there’s still so much support for him. We’ve been crap for so long.

We are literally a win one lose one team. Like a Bournemouth. They get praise for that & some tidy footy because they’re tiny, but for a club like us that’s nowhere near the standard.

The fucking smooth brains going ‘but we beat Villa!’ - Yeah, that’s the point. We are completely inconsistent.

We probably do alright against City and revive some hope, fresh for not turning up for Fulham. Unbelievable team.

But ; whilst I share your concerns;

There’s always hope ; that this was a blip ( in a sequence of blips ) that allows learning and growth to take place .

I’ve said elsewhere; it’s probably time to go all in for the Europa and Carabao.

Leave the Prem ; regard it as a distraction: we’re not winning it this year IMO .

Get CL by winning the Europa League , or win the Carabao and get Conference as a consolation.

It’s where we’re at . In the meantime; fill the stadium, eat the food and fill the tills , aka the world today .

Regroup and plan a new future in Spring ; should all have gone to sh%%.

Then we can go again, if necessary.

Unless anyone’s got a better idea .

I reckon his first post back will be a tweet from some no mark tactico nerd on twitter claiming that we've had more advanced inverted tilt movements in the opposition half than any other team this year and that it's proof that the results are coming

It's also a stupid thing to say without looking at who we have lost to, the manner of those defeats. Of course the league table is bunched up, but the trajectory of the last 40 odd PL games shows that were are very much midtable mediocrity with the higher chance of getting worse, not better.

United will 100% finish above us this season.

Those are all very positive points. Good for you seeing through the noise.
Most people can’t do that. See noise.

You missed out that we actually won the second half today.
And on Thursday I believe.

Once we combine to win a first half and a second half we will be unstoppable.

Trust in Ange!! Mate!!

What can I say mate

I have a gift

We did indeed win the second half , plus we had a goal disallowed, if that had counted we'd have got a draw today

Plus if we hadn't conceded two goals , we'd have won the match outright

So Ange is clearly doing something right

Trust the process

If it’s on your entire screen it’s not a blip mate, it’s a fucking nuclear warhead.

Supported us longer than i care to remember and i cant think of one other manager that has got so much loyalty from such little substance. The defence of being 10th, losing 10 of 18, never keeping clean sheets is staggering. 2024 is going to be one of our worst ever years results wise. Looking forward to the contortions when we're 12th, 13th, 14th over the coming weeks because pretty certain thats where we'll be.
Couldn’t agree more. The way some fans defend this circus is like watching someone passionately argue that a shit sandwich is actually gourmet cuisine. Give it a few more weeks, and they'll be claiming 14th is just another 'building block' and they can 'smell success around the corner' when actually, the 'smell' is more like a recentley fumigated brothel lol, something quite fishy about the whole thing.

Disagree, players and coaches have their own individual and collective mentality,

how often do they even interact with the ownership? excuses.

Everyone is responsible for themselves when they cross the white line .

the idea that they could say "the chairman doesn't care" doesn't wash with me, even if people believe it.

Any company or sport’s team mentality and ethos comes from the top, that’s just how it has and always will be. It’s not that levy does not care about the club, of course he does, but he can’t or won’t do what is absolutely needed to win on the field. If it isn’t that he just doesn’t have the ability to do it.

Either way they need to go, it’s stale, it’s boring, the club is going around in ever decreasing circles. Change is needed, levy can’t sack himself and Lewis can’t do it and hasn’t wanted to in the past whilst he’s been growing this behemoth of a club that’s now too big for them.

I wonder whom you're referring to? Whoever it is SURELY must have something to say about today? I mean if they are that passionate about the club you would think they have a lot of thoughts to share with the group? lol.

We are clearly lulling Pep into a false sense of security.

The last thing he will expect is for us to take the lead. When we do he will have no plan B.

Ultimately I can see him taking off Haaland and putting on a young untried CB in his place in some mental tactical change.

Wait and see…… you read it here first. (And probably last).

Literally had Flav on sky sports recently saying there are no spurs fans questioning Ange - that's not the vibe I got into the south stand today.
His default take has always tended to be that true supporters support the manager and the team regardless of a rough patch. He never really wants a manager out until that manager in the media has his head turned elsewhere or thinks he is bigger than the club, e.g. 'Arry with England. To be fair he often acknowledges when his own views are completely different to the majority of Spurs fans - I think he just doesn't consider Spurs fans on social media that want Ange out true supporters of the football club or in the majority - at least last week. But yeah, I disagree with at least 50% of his views, but to be honest he'd just tell you to fuck off and listen to something else if you disagree with any of his opinions, which he will flip-flop on himself and forget. But I don't think it is an unreasonable position to support Ange when things are not going well, considering he also supported AVB, etc.

If Levy takes decisive action though- he might still be able to save the season. Right now we're on pace for 10-12th place.

I don't listen to the pod, however, I'd be shocked if anyone thought that?! I hear it most games.
