Great game. But didn’t like the not celebrating, especially after our cup win where I noticed Pep whisper to him at the end…

Maybe, just think the whisper from Pep was super iffy (he hand over mouthed something) then scoring the third against a team he developed with but never played for, to not celebrate (would have been apt if he’d pointed to his name across his shirt) just made me feel it was more about thinking about a return there.

Anyway, you are right they probably couldn’t afford to prize him away, until their lawyers worm their way out of all the charges…

Porro, Maddison and Solanke all sat down and did the “driver’s seat” celebration after he scored, not sure what you folks are talking about not celebrating the goal.
 
I think there's an argument to be had that vs a low block side he should be on the right wing with spence right back. I don't think he'll ever be outstanding defensively but when he's on it like Saturday on the ball he's a top level player.
 
Just watched his goal against City again. Great football IQ: when the break happens he sprints through the middle third to be part of the action, then deliberately slows down so as not to arrive in the box too early, and arrives at the perfect moment for the shot.
